Going insane waiting for my points

We're direct owners at AKV who just closed on a resale contract at AKV with the same use year on 3/2. I feel like I'm slowly going insane checking the Orange County Comptroller's page daily to see if the deed shows up. I see the Waiver of First Refusal from 1/23 and the Warranty Deed from 2/19 but nothing else. We have some expiring points so I'm hoping those new points show up in our account soon since our 7 month window is rapidly approaching! Trying to practice my patience!

I closed on a AKV add on 3/1 and the deed showed up on the comptroller website the next day. Still not showing up in my DVC account though...

I'm a little confused - you say that you see the Waiver and the Warranty Deed on the comptrollers site already? What other deed are you looking for? The next step will be DVC getting the points added to your account.

Hey Laurie, I don’t think you will see anything additional on OCC right? If the deed granting you the “property” is listed there I think you are done with OCC. As an existing owner though I’d have thought you would see it loaded ito DVC by this point after closing. Good luck with it! We are existing resale and direct owners awaiting closing on an add on as well. I hear ya about stalking those websites!

Hmm. When I saw the Warranty Deed from the sellers to us, that is what I thought but I called Member Administration a few days ago, and the person I spoke to made it seem like there was some other deed that they didn't have yet.

We have one direct and one resale contract. On OCC we have three documents: 1 ROFR notice and two deeds. I wonder if the MS cast member used a different term? Sounds like they are waiting on the final paperwork to set up the contact in your account. Perhaps reach out to your broker/closing agent?

Well, the closing agent confirmed everything is done on their end, but Member Administration said they couldn't help when I called. However, today the new contract showed up in my dashboard. It just says there are 0 of 160 points for all of the years listed there. I'm hoping that means I will see the actual points in shortly!
