I was given October as the most favourite time to go to florida.

Also October flight prices, will they be around the same price all october, or is one part cheaper than the other? Which part will the weather be better.

One more thing if we went in october would probably fit a cruise in ..... will we be ok then for choppy water?

October is a lovely time to go! still hot not as humid, quite dry weather. prices rise over the half term week though, weather gets a little cooler towards beginning of november

We are looking at the same time.Dont know whether to go for the week befor and including or the week of and the week after half term:confused3 Dont know about prices for flights as not looked for october. Undecided on 7 night or 4 night cruise but want to book that by end october before prices go up

We are going the fortnight before half term, then getting the hell out as it gets busy for the holiday.

The only concern I have about October is the shorter daytime hours, in September it's dark a lot later in the mornings and dark a lot earlier in the evening than in the UK.

we are going 19th oct for 2 weeks got a great deal on virgin holidays 2 adults 2 infants 14 day tickets 1 bed villa at okw and free dining for 2900

Thats good but you dont pay for the infants so effectivley 2 adults. Had to reread your post as price very cheap for a one bedroom for 4. Well done thoug you will love OKW

Kevin-didnt realise october holiday was going to be that busy. I have been august in school holidays and as long as you go early everthing is fine.Is half trerm really that busy:confused3

we are paying for the infants nearly £500 so for 2400 for 2 adults thats not bad for 1 bed villa

Thought children 2 and under went free?:confused3unless they have a seat on the plane. Excellent price for a one bedroom with tickets etc. Virgin quoted us no where near that as a couple for a studio with tickets:confused3
