Which resort would you go with??? My girls will be almost 3 and almost 5. I thought we were set on ASMU, but I am thinking about POFQ. We are traveling with my mom and 22YO brother. we are getting 2 rooms for 10 nights....and for the life of me can't figure out the price difference. I know 2008 is not out yet...but using last years schedlue. We are going may 23 - June 2. Thanks!!

If I were you I would go with a moderate over a value. I have never stayed at POFQ but have at POR.

my family and i loved pofq the several times we've stayed there. we almost stayed there in may but we went for one room at WL but afterwards we wished we had done 2 rooms at pofq (i'm 22 my brother is 20) and we are getting too big to all stay in one room at WL (very sad!) but we liked pofq b/c its small but close to por for a long walk and pofq isnt as "dark" as por is. we have stayed at both and like pofq much better!

We have stayed at both ASMU and POFQ. I have to say that I am not sure that it is worth the $$ for the moderate hotel. Although DS4 loved the pool, I think he would have liked the pool just as well at ASMU. Now if you were comparing it to WL, I would say WL all the way. I guess what I am saying is that having stayed at all three, I would do all (WL) or nothing (ASMU). I probably wouldn't book POFQ again. Size wise, it gets a 10 as far as moderates go. It is very compact, and no room is a far walk. So, it gets my vote for the most manageable moderate. The bengeits (sp??) are awsome. It just felt like we were always on the bus. You do get picked up first, so you always get at seat, but then you have to go to approx. 4 stops at POR before you are on your way to the parks.

I just don't remember ASMU feeling like it was so far away from the parks. Btw, ASMU is the second stop at the All Stars. Good luck with your decision.

I've never stayed at either resort you're looking at. But I have visited POFQ and thought it was a very pleasant resort. We stayed at POR and walked over to POFQ - a very nice walk along the river. I liked how POFQ was set up - everything seemed closer and more intimate..not a lot of walking. My sister stayed there and her kids loved the pool/slide.

DH and I wanted to stay there the next time but now we have 3 kids so we probably won't be able to stay there until we can get 2 rooms and feel comfortable spliting up just in case we don't get connecting rooms which are not guaranteed. I personally would go for the moderate I don't really like the values but thats just my opinion. Good luck & have fun!

We stayed at ASMU last year with just my girls. And to be honest, we loved it. :) But then I look at all of these rooms and go oooo, this is a once of a lifetime trip and thinking maybe we should make it more special, but at the same time can't justify the price of WL when I know that we will NEVER be there.

Thank you for all of your thoughts!!
