I will be going to WDW January 24-28, 2006!! But, I won't be able to spend much, if any, time in the parks. But I'm still excited!
Last week, the children's minister at my church asked if I'd like to go to a conference on children's ministry in January. As she told me about it, I thought it sounded really interesting, as I do a lot of volunteering with my church's children. Then she says, "Oh, and it's at Disney this year." WHAT?!?!
Yep, it at Coronado Springs Resort! My arrival day will be my only truly free day. Our children's minister has never been to WDW! I told her we need to go to the MK that day. She's a grandmother several times over & has never been. I told her she needs that magical experience. At the very least, we'll spend the day in Downtown Disney and then have dinner at O'hana. Other days we have 2-1/2 hours for lunch and then 2-1/2 hours of "free" time in the afternoon, but not a big enough chunk to do the parks.
Anyway, even if I don't get to spend time in the park, it will be wonderful just to be there. I'm planning to go to one seminar which includes a 90 minute presentation at the Disney Institute (didn't know it still existed) and then a tour of four different Disney resorts (don't know which ones). That should be a really neat experience too.
Just wanted to share, 'cause I can't wait!
