Going in December?

Ok,
So my DH says the other day to me out of the clear blue sky, " Why dont we go to DL at Christmas" couldnt hardly breath. ( we are going for our ann. OCT/NOV) DH thought it would be a good idea for me to get some christmas photographs. He suprised me at christmas last year with a brand new camera to start my bussiness of the ground. So any way after picking myself up of the floor, I said of course I take care of all the planing. So we are staying at the PP this trip ,but was wondering if I should branch out and try the DLH? I have been reading alot of negitives about the hotel .

I can't recommend GCH enough, its stunning at Christmas...as long as the tree doesn't catch fire. lol

My DH and I have both been in the GC and to us it would be like staying in a "Dude Ranch" Being from Montana it really is not for us

Not a fan of tha Arts and Crafts movement? That's okay. I guess that is why they have three properties to choose from. I've heard mixed things on DLH. But I will say the grounds, pool and lobby are very Disney. Beautiful.
