We are going home to BCV for the first time Feb 22-27. I am looking at changing my reservation from a 2BR to a 1BR. Can MS look for this without cancelling my reservation? We are looking at staying an extra day(Friday) and coming home on Saturday. Can we leave early if we decide too, in case there is a major snow storm? We are planning on driving down I75.

Also, it seems that everyone has AP, but where is the best place to purchase tickets? I was going to go to the Disney Store. We don't want all the pluses, just park admission.

Will anyone else be there? I'm hoping crowds will be light, since its after presidents day.

Thanks for your help.

MS can check for 1 bedroom availability without cancelling, but to actually change it they would have to cancel and rebook. If it's not available, you could waitlist. However, if you get past 1/22 the points difference would go into a holding account.

You could leave early but you would lose the points for those nights. Or are you asking if you can leave home early and arrive early? If there is a room available you could check-in early and be charged points for that night (or pay cash if available).

An AP usually makes sense if you will be in the parks 8 days or more within a year.

I agree you (OP) should at least consider the APs. It looks like you will be staying 6-7 days on this trip. That means you are very close to the point where the AP will pay for itself when compared to other ticketing options.

If you are planning a return trip any time up through February 21, 2005, you will have unlimited admission to the parks. So even if you bought DVC with the intention of staying for a week each February, you can effectively get two trips under one AP just by staggering your annual stays a week or two.

There are also some nice additional benefits extended to AP holders, some of which do overlap with DVC member benefits. A list of AP holder benefits can be found here:

If you are still convinced Hopper passes are the best way to go, check out www.mousesavers.com for recommendations on the cheapest vendors.
