Going for one day, last minute?

I just found out last night that I'm going to be in Orlando for work tomorrow, and I will be able to go to WDW for one day. I will be buying my ticket at the gate. Since I wont be able to set up FP+, will I be able to get FP's the "old fashion" way?

Sad to say the old fashioned way was phased out and exists no more.

Not sure when it was finally gone, but you only have the choice of scheduling at the "kiosks". I don't know much about it myself since we didn't do any of that our last trip (May). We just did rope drop as we always did and made do with that. Got to do most of our favorites anyway.

You'll be able to get FP through the FP+ kiosks in the park. But you can schedule all three at one time. Once you use those three, you can schedule a 4th, and so on and so on. Until they run out.

We were just there, and the lines weren't HORRIBLE... unless you want to go on the 7DMT (I would recommend against this, as it wasn't worth the 2+ hours you would have to wait). We did several rides just standing in standby lines, without major issues. Only waited around 30 min for HM, 20 for Buzz, 30 for Pooh, etc.

Thank you so much for the quick responses! Is there a map of where all the kiosks are located? I actually like this idea better, instead of going from one end of the park to collect a FP and then going to the otherside to ride something else stand by...I think this may work.

You should still be able to do your first three from your smartphone, if you have the app...

You need to have a MDE account and link the ticket to it before you can reserve your first three FPs on your smartphone. Yes, it will work (or should work) with a one day ticket purchased at the gate. If not, use the kiosks.

I'm not sure if the park maps show the locations of FP+ kiosks. You can always ask a CM for the location of the nearest one.
