Going back to where it all started- Sept. 2010 PTR

ok, so I haven't had time to do all the reading but I did look at the new pics. Love all your honeymoon ones and I don't think you even look one day older. LOVE the pic of Ethan and you!!!! The pics of Coley make me want to cry :( but they are all fantastic as well. Oh, of course the pics of Lucas are great as well it's just that I've seen them on fb :)

So you roll them long then? I was folding them and rolling them in my mind, thinking the Disney irons want me to use them, too! LOL!!:lmao:

OK - enough with the ironing and folding the clothes!! :rotfl:

Especially t-shirts!! (you actually iron t-shirts????)

Take it from a guy - your guys don't care if their clothes are wrinkled - and after 15 minutes in that Florida heat and humidity (not too mention breakfast!!) the kid's clothes will be trashed anyway ... :rotfl2:

So save yourself a lot of work and just throw their clothes in a suitcase ...:rolleyes1

However, under NO circumstances let your kids pack their own suitcases (until they're leaving for college ...) ... unless you want a good laugh!! :dance3:

... OK - off my soap box and back to multi-tasking ...

Hi guys!!

Happy weekend!!:cloud9:

It's a gorgeous one here, not a cloud in the sky, bright blue and cooler temps, it officially feels like Fall here in Plymouth! My favorite season of the year!

We're having a great day, I started it with a 5k race! I started running about a year and half ago, I'm not fast, but I do enjoy it and it's good for my body and mind! Thought I'd share a quick pic of me before....such a beautiful day to run, we raced along our waterfront and to the Plymouth rock, it was so much fun doing it with a couple of girlfriends! So glad to have done it. :cloud9:

From there, I headed to Ethan's 1st soccer game, this is his 1st year playing all boys and competitively. He did well, he played goalie and really did a good job keeping the ball out of the net. :thumbsup2

What are your plans this weekend?:confused3

This afternoon, Todd & I took some time, while the boys enjoyed the fenced in yard and made our list of things that needed to get done. We already checked a few things off, like prepaid for parking at the park and shuttle and held our mail! Slowly but surely....we'll get there. Our trip is getting SO CLOSE!!!!!!!!:dance3: I can't believe it, 10 more days!!!!!!!! Tomorrow I start the single digit dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!

10 days from today I will be.......sitting at the pool in the morning at PORS enjoying a pool day, this is our down day of the week, assuming everyone can convince me that we don't NEED to go back to a park!:rolleyes1 We have 6 p.m. ressies at Raglan Road at DTD that night. Those are our only plans for the day. But, no worries, I checked.....MK is open 8-7 p.m. and MGM is open 9-9:30 pm. Just in case!;)

This picture is adorable! I love all his silly bands, my brother's niece (on his wife's side) is about Cole's age and she wears tons of them at once too, she loves taking them off and showing you what they all are - so cute!

Aww,thanks Michelle! Idk what it is about those silly bands, but they love them! I can't get them off of him!:lmao: Oh well, I guess I was the same way about jelly bracelets when I was young, too!;)
I just have to say thank you for posting that Yapta site a while back- I got a $172 voucher back from Jet Blue today!! I never would have known without that site- and right after I got off the phone with them I checked the prices again and they had gone up by like $150! Crazy!

David did great at preschool. He didn't want to come home when I got there to pick him up! And all day he's said "I want to go to school!" I guess he had fun! :rotfl: I did put some pics up on my report if you want to see them!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banana::banana: You are very welcome!! So glad that helped you!! Isn't it a great site!!!!

SO glad David did well at preschool, what a big boy! Will have to go and check out your report and see the pics. I'm sure they are adorable. :cutie: how's Mom hanging in there?;)

That Cole sure does have a contagious smile!!! :teeth:

He so does!!:cloud9:
congrats on all the first days!!! Soo exciting! Ton answer questions from before: We were married in oct of 04' then spend two weeks in port orleans riverside,,,,,great 2weeks :)

Thanks, we all survived!!! Hoping next week goes smoothly, too!! And our trip doesn't throw everyone off too much!!

2 week honeymoon, how nice!!!!!:lovestruc

Hurrah for 10 days! The time will really start flying now!

Such cute 1st day pictures! :goodvibes

Congrats on your 5K!! :thumbsup2

I thought of you this weekend - had a chipmunk in my garage. And all I could think of was what if "he" got into the car. My boyfriend looked at me like I was nuts and told me that chipmunks don't get into cars. I said "oh yes they do!!!!" What ever happened to your "friend" the chipmunk?

Ack! Just realizing I never sent your CDs. I will try to do that this week.

Ooooh, I love all the "1st Day" pictures!! How is school going for each of them? So far, so good?

I know we have discussed this before, but I'm blanking...when is Cole's birthday? Is he young for his class still being 3, or is that norm around where you live? I will start Henry next year (gulp!), he'll be just barely 4 - the cutoff here is December, so he'll have 3 year old classmates, but they won't be too far behind him.

Cool dude, pirate guy, dance, dance. :goodvibes

Thanks Brook, everyone is doing great! Dreading Tuesday though when I drop Cole off alone for the 1st time. :sad2: I will officially be a MESS!! Cole turned 3 on 6/27, he's one of the babies of the class. Since the other boys are Winter babies and we started them at 3, almost 4....I just signed Cole up since that's what we did the 1st two times, you know? I think it will be good for him to get a bit more independant and make some of his own friends since he's usually just always with us at his brothers activities. Not sure though on the flip side when it comes to Kindergarten we'll push him through or hold him back, guess time will tell. I'm thinking with two older siblings, he'll be fine, but we'll see.

Aw, Cole looks so sweet on his first day! He is one handsome guy!

Aww, thank you!!!:goodvibes

You are SO sweet, Tracy!!!!:goodvibes 10 years, 3 kids has so done a number on me, but I appreciate your kind words!!

I can't believe how old and big our boys are getting!!!:sad2:

I'll be back ...

You are too funny!!!:lmao::rotfl::laughing:

I don't usually iron my boys tshirts, but they are so icky looking and for vacation and pics, I like them to look somewhat nice! Sorry...that's the Mommy in me!!;)

I know!!!!!!!! I have SO much to do!!!!!!

Thanks, C! The boys looked so grown up this week to me!:guilty:

Thanks on the congrats on the race, it was so much fun!! How is your running going?

OH NO!!!!!!!!!! Get rid of that chipmunk! Remember mine cost me over $500!!!!!!:scared1: Put Bounce drier sheets in your glove box in your car and around, to keep him away. They do some SERIOUS damage!! And our "friend" was taken care of....if you know what I mean......:rolleyes1

No worries, I just appreciate you thinking of me!!!

Congratulations on the race!!!! :yay: I didn't run AT ALL in Disney - I fully intended too, had all the gear (except my shoes) packed and then realized I would have to bring the shoes...and realization hit me that the chances would be slimmmmm for me to actually run there.

And I was right. Never did I have enough energy to run! :rotfl:

Back to the running on Monday though. Going to attempt to pick up where I left at 8 minutes since I've done that cycle several times. I'm nervous about advancing to the 20 minute!

I was wondering if you were gonna do the Run to the Rock. Congrats! Are you doing the Liam Macomber Police/Fire run next weekend? That's another nice run/walk for a good cause. We usually do that one every year.

You should be doing the single digit dance this morning!!! :dance3: Isn't it so exciting? While you are enjoying your down day, we are going to brave EMH at Magic Kingdom for the first time ever. It should be interesting with half my family getting in the night before from the West Coast.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend and GO PATRIOT'S!!!! :woohoo:

I'm packing this weekend since it's my last weekend to pack!!!!!!!

I need to get off these boards & finish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Brook, I didn't do as well as I would have wanted to, but the point is, I did it!:thumbsup2 And I'm back in the game!! Besides the achey hip I have!:guilty:

You are better than me, I don't think I'm going to even bring my running stuff with me to Disney. With all the walking we do and the heat, I think i'm going to say that's enough!

Good luck with your running this week!!

I did, I was wondering if you guys were there watching! It was a GREAT race, my 1st time doing that one, will definately do it again next year! Beautiful course. I thought maybe I'd do the Liam Macomber race, but having some issues with my hip, so need to take it easy right now, especially before Disney. Will you be doing it?

Packing, well, I have lots of the essentials piled and ready to go in my overflowing Disney box. Batteries are charging, and as i was taking care of laundry today, I put aside some of my stuff already. But officially we're planning on doing it Sunday and getting it all done.

I forgot to update that! I sent notes in this week for the kids, no issues with either of them!!:thumbsup2 Ethan's teacher just said she would send a journal home so he can write what he did everyday for work and some academics will have to be done when he gets home, she wrote the nicest note about him and said she wishes she were going with us! SO sweet!!!:cutie: So glad Hailey's teacher didn't seem to mind, either. HUGE weight off!! Phew!!!!:cloud9:

:cool1::banana::woohoo::yay::cheer2::cool1: congrats on the single digit dance. So excited for you and hope it's ok that I will be living vicariously through your trip :)
