Going back to WDW for Liam's 9th Birthday! 5/29-6/3 WE ARE BACK!!!

:woohoo: So exciting to hear about getting your last minute things done! Makes it seem more real when you're down to just days!!:cool1:

Tell Liam to get us a TARDIS as well. :thumbsup2

(I've not heard of the show, but that was a cute story!!)

Awwww, the things kids say!

I don't watch the show, but I would love to have a TARDIS, too!

I was reading your story about The Tardis and Jay knew exactly what you were talking about since him and DH watches Dr. Who together. (I was clueless by the way) He wanted to know if there was really a Tardis to take him to WDW anytime he wanted. :rotfl2: I explained that is what your son wished he had and Jay agreed that it would be SOOOOO COOL! ;) It was very cute that he really thought something like that might exist. To be a kid again.....:wizard:

I am sorry to inform you that the answer to question #20 is

d.) 8,000

Imagineers considered The Tree of Life the single most challenging structure on property. More than 103,000 leaves---all attached by hand and capable of withstanding 100 mph winds---adorn the more than 8,000 branches and its leaves stretch out more than 160 feet at its widest part.

Here is question #21

What animal was "mistakenly" almost left off The Tree of Life?

a.) Dragon
b.) Elephant
c.) Mouse
d.) Chipanzee

Did You Know?

While Disney's Animal Kingdom (DAK) includes plants from every continent on Earth except Antartica, the first tree planted on the DAK site, in December 1995, was as Acacia Xanthophloea, grown from a seed which Lead Creative Designer and Principle Landscape Architect Paul Comstock acquired in Africa.

Oh.... A CM told us this in 2009. What was it? :confused3

D?

Now, Corrine, stop making me pick wrong answers. My answers aren't wrong, its your trivia. I think you switch the actual answers after I take my guess. :p

:lmao::lmao: :rotfl2::rotfl2:

trivia - I'm going D

hooray for two weeks and getting last minute things done, like haircuts, very important for those photo ops!

Well Liam turned to me after the commercial
And told me he wished he had a TARDIS
When I asked him why
He told me he could take it to Disney World
And be able to go anytime for free

Out of the mouths of Babes.
:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

man, I should have known this earlier! I could have gotten him a Tardis keychain ( http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/collectibles/e5c8/ ) for only 10 bucks!

I would enjoy one too... I would not only go to WDW for free, i would totally visit some historical events. ::yes::

I guess I will go with D, too.

Yep that's what I do. I change the answer after you chose one, and than call the author of the book and WDW to make sure they change everything to fit the new answer. All this just to make you wrong.:lmao::lmao:

Definatly got to try to look good for those pics, especially since they will probably be the only ones I will be in. Probably going to get my haircut today. Wish me luck.:thumbsup2

I would totally love having a TARDIS, especially if the Doctor was included. Can't decide if I would rather have Matt or David. I am kind of thinking David because he is closer to my age.:goodvibes Sooooo Cute, not that you would know being a guy.:lmao:

Can I trust Lidian??? :lmao:

I guess I will go with D, too.

Of course you can trust me. **shifty eyes** :maleficen

:lmao::rotfl2:

Maybe you should trust her just this once because the answer is

d.) Chimpanzee

The Tree of Life had 324 animal carvings on it and was nearing completion when Jane Goodall inspected it at Disney's invitation. Goodall, considered the world's foremost authority on chimpanzees (she lived in their environment for more than two decades), immediately noticed there was no chimp image. Disney's Imagineers quickly remedied that, adding the likeness of "David Graybeard," one of Goodall's favorite chimps. You can spot him near the entrance of It's Tough to be a Bug!

Here we go to trivia question #22

Which of the following about Expedition Everest is true?

a.) The ride travels fowards and backwards
b.) The "mountain" is the tallest in Florida
c.) The ride vehicles are known as "Steam Donkeys."
d.) All of the above

Did you know?

It took more than 5 months and over 120 artists to create the 4 murals that honor the past rulers of the fictional village of Anandapur.

So tomarrow we are the 10 day mark so I will be back to for a huge celebration after I do the on line check in. Plus it is also my moms anniversary of her 29th birthday so me and my DB will probably take her out to dinner. Liam wants to go to store today to pick out a piece of jewelry for her.:thumbsup2

I also bought something very important yesterday. I have been contemplating doing this for over a month now. I borrowed a friends small video camera but was worried that it only held 60 minutes of video. I've been thinking of getting one that took an SD card but was worried that it would be to much to have a camera and a video camera. But since Liam will have a camera, and I want to be able to video him if he is in the JTA I decided to buy myself an early birthday present. At first I was getting the Kodak Sport, but they were all out so I got this instead.
kodak_playtouch-500x500.jpg

I have only played with a little, but it looks like it is pretty easy to use.

I also got some clips for our mugs. That way I can just clip them to the bag/stroller when we are done drinking (learned this tip on another thread)

I measured my suitcase, and it looks like it will be small enough to fit the carry on guide lines.:thumbsup2

I have been getting very anxious about the flight to Florida. So far both flights are open, but I am worried that they will fill up before our trip in 11 days. I know that I shouldn't worry because no matter what we will be in Disney, but I am really looking foward to going to MK on our first night and getting on some rides during EMH. Not to mention the parade and fireworks. Plus Liam is realy looking foward to some pool time.:confused3

Want to work on some window decorations and tip envelopes the next couple of days. This is my first time leaving tips for mousekeeping so hopefully I do it right. I don't want to tip to little and piss people off, or tip to much and ruin my budget. Oh well, I'll do my best. I got a brightly colored mickey at DO for $3 the other day, but you will have to wait to see my decorated window to see it.:thumbsup2 I also have a reg small mickey that might come with us for some pics.

I knew it! I knew you changed the answers - and you even got WDW in on it! :sad2:

:lmao::lmao: :rotfl2::rotfl2: :rotfl::rotfl:

As far as the next trivia .... Hmmm.... I think I'll go with D) all of the above. I'm not so sure about B, but I'm pretty confident on A and C .... :confused3

:woohoo: for online check-in tomorrow! And for your mom's celebration of her 29th b'day! I started that myself a couple of years ago. :thumbsup2

That's very sweet that Liam wanted to pick out some jewelry for her! Hope you plan to let us know what he got!

Grats on the camera! It looks really cool! Glad it seems simple to use! Can't wait to see pictures AND videos now!:banana::banana:

Fingers are crossed that you'll get the flight you want!!!

Can't wait to see the tip envelopes and window decor!!!! I'm sure that whatever you leave - no matter how little or big - will be appreciated by the Mousekeepers. Just check your budget and count out how much you'd leave each day so that you can plan ahead. If you go over budget, cut back on your tipping - or just opt to not have your room serviced everday with the DND tag. We usually keep the DND tag on the door every few days - we don't always feel the need to have Mousekeeping come in. We don't make beds at home - why should we when we're just going to get back in them later? :lmao::rotfl2:

Can't wait to see!! And can't wait to hear that you've completed your online check-in!!!! :cheer2::cheer2:

I'll guess D.

By the way, did you see the Star Wars Weekend guidemap for the first weekend is out on the internet.

since other people are guessing D, I'm gonna go with that too. I'm pretty sure B is right, unless there's some other man made mountain taller? But I've never been on it and haven't done much research, so I don't know about the other things. D is my final answer ;)

I think that you have everything planned perfect. Don't forget to take a deep breath and go with the flow. You never know when unexpected magic may pop up! I know that you will get seats on the earlier flight! I am sorry I have been missing so long! I have some really exiciting new job news, but I don't think I can post it here so you will have to check my facebook page. I can't wait for your trip! :woohoo::wizard::thumbsup2

I'm getting so excited through your countdown! Still sending wishes and pixie dust for earlier flights. Let us see the window decorations you come up with too!

we are so close! :woohoo:

Awesome video camera! and remember, you got the photopass too so you should be fine between video, liam's camera and photopass. ::yes::

I am currently laying next to our suitcases. Got them half packed, waiting on the dryer to finish.

I missed out on a trivia cause I was working and sleeping. *sigh* oh well, I am going to guess D on this one, cause I know A is true, and others say they KNOW something else is true, so yeah, all of the above. :thumbsup2

hay, did you remember to bring an extra bag to bring home goodies in? If you trust me, before you leave you can hand that extra bag to me and I can check it and bring it back. Since I get two bags free per ticket and I am just packing two suitcases (and a bag for goodies) so will have at least one open bag for free. Then either I can drop the bag off on the 6th, meet at the mall or something... Just an idea. :confused3

For the trivia I'm guessing D) All of the above...I'm pretty sure both A and B are correct, but I'm not so sure on C...popcorn::

Congrats on the video camera! I hope it works out well for you guys... and I'm sure you'll be fine in terms of pictures, like someone else also mentioned, there's always Photopass too!

Did you do your online check-in yet!? :yay:
