Going back to our 'happy place" w/pics link to my trip report( 9/7)

Plan looks great!!

Almost time for your trip!!!
Thanks!! Yes it is and I am getting so excited yet there is sooo much still to do.:goodvibes

Morning Amy, only thing I can think in your plan is when we went mid to late August in 2005 we never needed a FP for Philarmagic it was always easy to walk on so you could maybe FP something else :confused3
Morning Jo!! We may not need it ,I guess we will see.We did need one last year but we were there later in September.:confused3 It is one of our favorites so we usually do it several times.:goodvibes I am going to miss you popping into my report.:sad1:
I love the picture of the kids in the mister! So cute!

The only thing I see on the itinerary is that the FP machines for Philharmagic were closed when we were there in late September. It was a walk on! Bonus!
The pic in the mister is one of my favorites.:goodvibes If they are closed I will know for sure I don't need one.I hope it is like that! Thanks for coming by.:goodvibes
You're getting closer! Quick question for you.. do you always plan specific rides and the order in which you ride them? Do you find that makes the trip easier? It just seems so specific... I never done the TGM thing, but I think that's what he does. I don't know.. it just seems confining to have a list of rides to go to in order.

But, then again, I've never tried it!:)
It seems to make things easier to me.No wondering what to do next.We definitely stray from it sometimes especially if the crowds are low.Not confining at all.:goodvibes It helps me to make sure each person gets to do their must-dos.
That one is definitely a keeper!!!

I do the same thing....figure out what rides we're going to, and in what order. But you're braver than I am -- I wouldn't post mine out here. ;)

I think knowing in advance what your gameplan is, helps make everything run smoother. Nobody in my group will be sitting around a park map, wondering what to do next. I've got it all in the vault. :flower3:

Hope you're having a great day!
Why won't you post yours??Is s it similar to mine??I am such a dork.:surfweb: Yep I feel bad for all tose that are wasting their time staring at a park map-we have better things to do!!:woohoo:
YOU have a great day!!!

I wouldn't post mine, because people would figure I'd lost my mind -- crossing back and forth the park 5 times in the August heat is one thing. Actually planning it that way...... :flower3:

But I am relying on you to make sure I don't forget to pack anything -- do you have my list ready?

18 days! You are so close! Keep the last minute plans and details coming!
HI!! Yes I am getting soo close. I am trying to get the last minute stuff done but it is going to be a challenge this week.I am working extra hours then coming home at 6:30pm to four kids who I haven't seen all day.:scared1:
Hi, Here is to free dinning!:drinking:
Have a magical time!
Yes,I lOVE free dining. This will be my third time taking advantage of it.:woohoo: Thanks for coming by!
Amy that mister pic is so cute! I just love little Rae's face!!!
Thanks! That is one of my favorite pictures.:thumbsup2 It works out perfectly for her to do while we are on Space Mtn.:goodvibes

Nah,I wouldn't think your crazy.Mine gets pretty odd too.Hmmm....personalized lists? I will need more information.:rolleyes1

I went to Target and Walmart and added to my Disney box.:goodvibes My mom bought the girls some more shirts.I just may have to extend our vacation so that they cam wear all there Disney clothes.I bought wipes, hand sanitizer, small roll of tums for Peyton, toothpaste, etc.I wish I could post a picture but I will as soon as I can borrow someone's camera.

I almost forgot.Rachel got some red/black Disney crocs today!!!:woohoo:

You can never have too much stuff in the disney box ;)

I know what you mean about having to extend the trip just so my dd can fit in all her outfits, lol! But since it's our first trip I figure we might as well go all out...at least that's how I rationalize all the $pending! :rotfl:

:cool1: on the crocs! I love the red/black ones! DD has a pair of pink ones.

Getting excited for you, leaving so soon! :goodvibes

Hi Amy! I am sooo glad you found the GOOFY toy!! That rocks! :thumbsup2
Your plans look wonderful-- This is the first year that I am trying out "touring plans"--I was a little uneasy about haveing specific times for everything at first, but I honestly think it will work out for the better!

18 DAYS?!?!?! WHOO HOOO- so happy for you, I think Im at like 35ish!

BTW The mist picture is wonderful!

Productive trip!! Awesome!!

Hi Amy - I followed you over from my report - just finished catching up - it is great! :thumbsup2

I know what you mean about the 40 inch mark! DS3 (will turn 4 before we go) and he is just over 40 inches!! :cool1: It was hard when we went last year because there were so many things he couldn't ride. DS6 is over the 44 inch mark so he can ride some of the big kid rides with us!! :cool1: (Even though we'll still have to do baby-swap for DS3 on these rides.) Good Luck with the shoes.

I hope you enjoy Imagination Movers. We are going to see Choo Choo Soul (not our first choice - but that's who will be there when we are). Hopefully if we rush right over to where they distribute the tickets we will get in to one of the first two shows because we have an ADR for the character lunch at H&V at 12:15.

Thanks for the great packing ideas!! I'll have to buy a new box of gallon zip bags next time I'm at BJs. Love all your outfits too!

I already made my countdown calendar with the Mickey ::MickeyMo paint samples too - haven't started using it yet though - I decided to just do 30 days too. I don't want to get the kids too excited yet. We need to get through the next couple weeks until DS6 starts school (1st grade) on August 29th. :hourglass

Enjoying your report - can't wait to hear your next installment. :)

I spent a fortune on our first trip thinking that it was a "once in a lifetime" trip.:rolleyes1 This is my fourth since then.:cool1: Rachel also has the yellow/blue Disney crocs.:woohoo:

HI! Thanks for coming over and reading.:goodvibes I love baby swap and will be using it this year too.My older ones like that they get to ride the rides twice.:thumbsup2 It's cool that you get to see Choo Choo Soul. That would have been what Rachel would have rather seen.I can't believe so many people haven't started school.:confused3 We are so used to starting midsummer here.;)
That is so awesome that a fellow diser found your goofy pillow!:goodvibes
Yep I am sooo happy!! He is going to be ecstatic! I told him that the picture he saw was from a yard sale and they don't sell them anymore.

I am planning on posting my plans for day two later. It has been a hard one.I am going to get the kids ready for bed.See ya later!

Hi Amy,

Just wanted to get in a final goodbye. We leave in the morning and I won't be Dising for 10 days, but the withdrawl will be worth it since we are at WDW. I promise to catch up when I get back.

I was going to go to bed but I have a cold which makes laying down impossible. What does a Disney obsessed person do when they can't fall asleep??PLAN!!

I have been having trouble doing my AK plans.I am afraid it is going to miserable hot, doesn't that park seem hotter than the others?I want to do the must-dos and leave.BTW, this is Rebekah's favorite park.

Animal KingdomHours 9-5:00 pm; parade 4:00pm
1.Arrive by 8:15-8:30am
2.Let the Grandparents and kids take their time getting to the safari.I will walk swiftly;) to get FP for EE.The kids like all the CMs with their goodies at the entrance.
3.Ride the safari.I would skip this but Rae wants to do it.
4.If the time is right we will do Lion King
5.Tough to be a Bug
Lunch at Pizzafari if 11:00am
6.Kali River Rapids
7.flights of Wonder
8.EE
9.Nemo show
10.Primeevil whirl
11Possibly Dinosaur if someone will do it with me.

We will also do the Boneyard and/or the trail with the bats(??)We want to leave by 3:30pm so that we have enough time to clean up to go to Kona Cafe at 5:30pm.

I would love some ctitique/advice on this,it doesn't feel right.:confused3

Here are a few pics of AK last year.I don't have many on my computer because we used a disposable camera for most of the day and my scanned pictures are too small.:confused3

I hope you feel better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think your plan looks very doable! I think you could even get EE done before lunch! I know your fastpass will be pretty early in the day if you get if first thing. I love AK!

Since it's my first time....sorry I can't offer any advice but I wanted to tell you that I love that picture of your dad, he looks like he's having so much fun! :)

:wizard: Hope you feel better soon!!!
