Going away after Christmas - any ideas?

I've always hard to occupy the kids right after Christmas. My kids are too young to find New Year's eve to be special and it's always a let down after Christmas.

Other than Disney World, where have you taken your kids (for vacation) just after Xmas that has been reasonably priced? I considered Hilton Head Island but the temperature is a bit cool there (although better than what it would be here in Toronto)!

You can't beat Punta Cana!!! It's starting to get more expensive, but is still cheaper than Mexico, Cuba or Jamaica.

Many of the resorts offer kids clubs.

I don't know about your kids, but ours love swimming, whether it's the beach or the pool.

Until after New Years, nowhere is much of a bargain unfortunately. I have seen some Costa Rica pkgs at not too astronomical prices tho? Perhaps you might find some places other than Orlando with some fair prices and sweeten the pot with a day trip to WDW?

We've gone to Cuba the past 2 years and have had the best time. There are some great last minute deals there since the American travellers don't have that destination on their list.
