I have been reading posts and am getting worried and excited. We are going on Monday and Wednesday , but I don't know what to do 1st. My boys are 3 and 5 and Monday is an EE day at MK and we don't have it b/c we are staying Downtown. Should we go to another park that day to avoid the crowds? I am just wanting to figure out what to do when and what to do 1st. We are planning 1 day MK, 1/2 day AK, and 1/2 either MGM or Epcot.
We have a character meal planned on our day off of the parks.
Any final planning help will be great. Thanks
Gwen
(leaving on Sunday for my boys 1st Disney vacation.)

On Monday, I would say 1/2 day at AK then MGM...

Be sure to do Camp Minnie Mickey... That's a great place for characters:)

At MGM... Playhouse Disney

Wednesday... Magic Kindom... All of Fantasyland and Toontown Fair.

This may change your plan, but Animal Kingdom has the extra hour on Mondays. It used to be Magic Kingdom on Mondays...but that moved to Sunday.
(Sun: MK
Mon: AK
Tue: Dis-MGM
Wed: Epcot
Thu: MK
Fri: AK
Sat: Dis-MGM)

since you are only going to AK 1/2 a day i'd chance it .....mainly because your boys are young enough you may have to physically drag them out of Mk kicking and screaming (lol) and it might be a let down for them to go there first. that way they'll have fun at all the parks.

I don't know what the crowds are like this year with FTP, but last September AK wasn't bad at all on EE. We walked on to ever attraction with no wait.

Above all else... Have Fun :)
