I went to an ENT specialist about a swollen lymph node in my jaw that turns out to just be a swollen gland and nothing to worry about. Yay!

When he was feeling around he said my thyroid is lumpy and wants an ultrasound to have a better look at it. So I have an ultrasound for my thyroid scheduled.

Next up..we were talking about breating and snoring and I told him how DBF has to shake me and yell "breathe" when I sleep and also mentioned my heavy snoring and daily fatigue. (I think I have sleep apnea.) He seemed really concerned about that and said "people die from that" and it should be my main concern right now. Alright then...sleep study schedule ASAP.

So, no lymph node issues but I have sleep/breathing problems and a lumpy thyroid. lol

I feel your pain. I went to the eye doctor a year or two ago thinking I just needed new glasses and walked out armed with the knowledge that I had cataracts and had to have surgery within the next few months from then. Went to the ENT for some issues late last year and walked out knowing that I would have to get thyroid surgery within the next year from then.

Sometimes it sucks getting old...er.

agnes!

At least he's on top of everything. Which means you've probably got a really good doctor. Of course specialist are good at taking clues of other things to get the whole picture.

That's great news on the jaw issue! I'm sure you're thankful that your doctor is on top of things though! :goodvibes
