Everyone getting ready for Halloween?? It is a VERY big deal at our house, with my birthday being one week before, and we throw a huge costume party every year. We had to rent out a place this year for the amount of attendees has outgrown our modest home! Soooo, if anyone sees any great deals on Halloween decor, online or instore, PLEASE let me know!! I'm recovering from gallbladder surgery this past friday but I still managed to make it to CVS and Rite-aid.

Rite aid has a nice match this week with Gain Dishliquid. It's onsale for .89 and the P&G insert this week has 1.00 coupon. It's a money maker. I love my freebies .

Sounds like you're doing great after surgery!

Friday and Saturday was awful. Friday, the hospital had me on three different opioids to help ease the pain. They allowed me to go home the same day which probably wasn't the best idea. Saturday, I fainted in the shower. Thankfully I called my husband in the nick of time, and he broke my fall. When I came to; I felt the onset of another episode. DH decided to call the EMT's who ultimately deemed me stable. It was an extremely frightening experience considering I've never passed out before.

Since then I've been doing much better. I'm really feeling a huge difference this morning. The constant pressure and pulling in my abdomen isn't as prominent. I'm also standing a bit more upright which makes me very happy! I'm not the type of person who enjoys sitting on my bottom. I can't wait to get back into my routine.

All I ask is that everyone continues to hold me in the prayers. I want to be back in commision ASAP. Lol.

Btw.. HauntedMansionMomma: Are you keeping personal tallies or a cumulative pool. It's so exciting to see how much we're all saving. My pantry is getting fuller and fuller.

Sounds like you went through the wringer. So glad to hear things got much better.

Hanutedmansionmomma is doing a cumulative tally for us for the month. She had wisdom teeth out on Friday so she's been a little under the weather as well and hasn't checked in as much as usual.

Life has been a bit crazy in our household lately, and with this week being midterm week, I doubt I'll make it shopping. I really want to add to our totals!! That is such a great idea! Hopefully within the next week, things will settle down and I'll get back to my shopping schedule. Strange how I miss it...
