I have hopper tickets that expire on Saturday. Was going to go today, but the heat is too crazy (101 forecast) and I love the atmosphere at Disneyland. the heat would make it not possible to enjoy without rushing to get in the A/C. Characters probably wouldn't even be out much.
So Friday is cooler, but closes at 7 with the overlap of party guests at 4. Saturday typically is more crowded. I haven't been in 3 years... What do you guys think?

Saturday for sure for the extra 5 hours of park time and the opportunity to see the night shows.

While there will be more crowds arrive 30 minutes before opening, and go first to Adventureland, and stay to park closing.

Thanks for the suggestion. Any reason why Adventureland first?
A few things I want to see for sure are Electronica and World of Color (viewing location not important) since they are new to me.

I also read that due to passholders sometimes Fridays are more crowded than Saturdays lately.

16 hours at the parks... I think I could still do it... with much coffee of course.

Do you know if there is a list of where and what each of the Halloween themed food it located at? I see photos here and there on here from people, but not a list yet.

Thanks again

ok, Saturday it is! Too sleepy today anyway. The decision was tough due to having extra time off work.

What time to arrive on Saturday to the parking structure? we were thinking of 7:30. OR would it be better to wait until 9 after the big rush if there is one in the morning?

Thanks,

Because Saturday is a Morning Magic day, the park will already have lot of people in it when you enter. But they are in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. So you can escape that early crowd by going to attractions like Indy, Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder. If you want to do Space or Peter Pan right away you will get there and it will already have a sizable line.

For ElecTRONica watch the LaserMan show. For WoC location is very important unless you are very tall. Get there early to you color group's meeting place and once in the park take a spot on any tier as long as it's against a rail. So nobody is blocking your view.

Not exactly the whole truth. Friday is a regular day until 5pm when local AP holders show up after work and the park gets crowded. But this Month Fridays are extra busy because of Halloween Parties. Saturday are always busy, but using the early and late hours helps out.

It can be a lot of walking and a long day. Take an early afternoon break if you need it. If not able to get back to a bed, there are some nice chairs in the Grand Californian lobby that people have been known to nap on.

I'm not sure if anyone has made a full list this year. .

Thanks for the information. I read it after I got back however.
We had a great day. Exhausting being there from 9am-1am though. Doing 2 parks in one day back and forth is too much walking so will not do that next time.
Loved Electronica. Laserman was fun, but too short. The dance party with techno music was more fun that I expected. Would love to have one of their subwoofers for my house for when my neighbors play their music too loud. The white-glowing couches and tables and interesting glowing drinks were a cool touch by Disney. Was not what I expected for Disney, but I hope they keep it. IF they could advertise that area better I think it could be really popular. We stayed for 2-hours.
We skipped World of Color after getting fastpasses simply because we figured it would be really crowded and if you need a pass for it, it would most likely be more crowded than Disneyland's fireworks or Fantasmic that don't require fastpasses.
Overall we had a wonderful day. Every cast member was too nice as typical for us, spending time to talk to us about the park and us.
We had annual passes for more than 7 years ending about 3 years ago. And I much prefer going for the day. Too many times with passes we ended up staying for 2-3 hours and didn't get the feel of Disneyland as we got by spending a full day. Passes sound fun in general, but the magic was gone after 7 years of having them. Now it's back!

Thanks again for all the suggestions. I'll begin helping others on this forum now.
