are go pros allowed in the parks? My son just got one and he’s hoping to take it in. It has a small Tripod stick. Is that allowed??

GoPros are allowed..."selfie sticks"are not.

Q. What items are not permitted within Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park?
  • Selfie sticks (hand-held extension poles for cameras and mobile devices)
Folding tripod stands or monopod stands that can fit inside a standard backpack are permitted.

If it is just a handle size, that is allowable. If it extends out beyond that, the will likely not allow it in the park.

Thanks, it’s just a handle stick that can open to a tripod. It’s about 8 inches. And it does not extend.

Yes we've taken ours in. We don't use a handle on it while at Disney to make it more compact to store in our bag when on rides but a small fix handle is allowed. They will usually just ask to see the stick at security to prove it doesn't extend.

AS long as it does not extend, I have never had a problem with my GoPro handles.
