Hey there, Laker fans...

Looks like the Pistons have more than "A Few Good Men" and their star is "Shining" now. And, Jack, "You can't handle the truth!"

GO PISTONS!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I hope the Pistons win, because I hate the Lakers.

Oh how happy I am to see the Pistons winning. I lived in Det. during the glory days of the "BAD BOYS" that was so great! Beating the Lakers is icing on the cake!

Well.....
Having been from LA and as someone who LOVES the Lakers;

GO LAKERS!!!!!!

Even though the Pistons are doing a damn good job. I even like Ben Wallace.

But-
GO LAKERS!!!!!! Get your heads out of your arses and pick up the game.

3 years ago I had no clue who the Redwings were, when me and my daughter were at Northern Michigan University for Freshman Orientation. Everyone kept talking about the RedWings. I thought why is everyone talking about RedWing Minnesota. Well, after I was put in my spot I found out. They resceduled a meeting for parents, cause everyone had to watch the "Stanley Cups".

I'm sure the same thing is happening this week at orientation, all meetings will be cancelled Tuesday evening for the BB playoffs.

I never knew Detroit had a professional bb team, or Minnesota.

FYI-WI has the Milwaukee Bucks-owned by our very own Senator, Herb Kohl.

For sure!!!!!:worship: :worship: Pistons. Not only can I not stand the Lakers, but the Pistons are my favorite team. The world will be shocked Tuesday night!!

I want to jump in to:

Go Pistons!!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I may live in Florida but was born and raised in Michigan, and will always support those Michigan teams.....even the Lions (maybe they will learn a thing or two from the Pistons)

Do they still celebrate winning a championship in Detroit by rioting? I remember years ago when the Tigers won the World Series and there was a riot afterward. The crowd turned over a car and set it on fire. Another win (maybe Pistons that time) was celebrated by a guy driving his car into the departing crowd and killing someone. That Detroit, (lived in the suburbs for 28 years.) definitely NOT for sissies!!!!

Go Pistons!!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Ha ha, OhMari. The same thing happened when I moved from the Detroit area (home of the Detroit Tigers, of course) to Greenville, SC. Clemson (home of the Clemson Tigers football team) University is nearby. When I moved here and saw all the excitement about the Tigers, I thought, "wow, that's nice. They love the (Detroit) Tigers all the way down here."

Funny you should mention this. Jimmy Kimmel got into extremely hot water for joking about this. It was fun to watch the fallout on the local news.

I missed that. What happened? How could he get into hot water if it is true???

I guess Bill Bonds doesn't do the news anymore, does he?

No more rioting in Michigan. The Detroit Red Wings have won the Stanley Cup twice and no rioting ever happened. The Pistons also won the NBA championship twice-1989 & 1990 and everything was fine.

Now Jimmy Kimmel did get into trouble for his comments about Detroiters burning down the town. In fact ABC pulled the plug on his show that night. I heard he got in serious trouble for his actions. Then the next day Jimmy wore a Piston's jersey and Tigers baseball cap on his show trying to show an apology. I guess the V.P of ABC is not a happy with Jimmy Kimmel.
