I never expected to win out against the Cards and John Lackey has had our number all season. In addition, the Cubbies had a NINE GAME winning streak going into the game and we were bound to lose one or two along the way. I never expected playing the Cardinals to be easy. They are too good of a team for easy. And you know what, the Cubs need to be challenged to go all the way. The good news is that they never gave up and continued to hit and play well even when they were down 0-4.

Six words Cubs fans:

Had to head to Wrigleyville to watch today's game,,, just had to be as close to the park as possible, WHAT A GAME!!!!!!!!!!! Back to back bundts getting 2 of our runs..that's how you play this game! Nabbed a great table at Sport's Corner Bar and Grill looking straight out/across the street from Wrigley Field while watching the game. Vibe was the best!

I share season tickets with a friend. I'm going tomorrow with my DH and then I might go to Wrigleyville for Tuesday's game if it's the early one.

Monday, October 12: If four games are being played, Cardinals-Cubs Game 3 will be played at5:07 p.m. CDT. If only two or three games are being played, Cardinals-Cubs Game 3 will be played at3:37 CDT. Gates will open two hours prior to our start time.

Tuesday, October 13: If the Mets-Dodgers series is still being played, Cardinals-Cubs Game 4* will be played at 3:37 p.m. CDT. If the series is over,Cardinals-Cubs Game 4* will be played at 7:07 p.m. CDT. Gates will open two hours prior to our start time.

For MONDAY's game, if the Blue Jays win tonight the game will be at 5:00. Since the Dodgers tied the series there will be 2 games in New York so they will play on Tuesday so the game at Wrigley will be at 3:30. I guess we get short shrift in the games times because we are the Wild Card team. I would imagine that the Cubs/Cards games will be the most watched for people who don't have teams in the playoffs.
