I have a connection to Brad Hoover. We grew up about 6 houses away from each other. He's quite a few years younger though. My dad still sees his dad . And alittle trivia-he's was a panther before-in high school. Go Hoooooover!!

I have been reading all of the news reports online this morning about the game. I came across this photo of my man, Jake. I love it!

My DS has been interning for the equipment mgr. since he graduated from Sacred Heart U in '03. That means that he has a very cool job and makes very, very little $. Fortunately, he gets a ton of overtime during the season. (Keep your fingers crossed that they finally make him full time.)

It's been an amazing experience for all of us. He's been able to get us pre-game field passes when they're up here playing the Giants. During the pre-season, we were standing there watching the warmups when Jerry Richardson walked over to chat with us. DD had no idea who he was, LOL.

So that's why I'm a Panthers fan. I'll see what he says about Peppers when I talk to him later today.

My husband heard on sportscenter or NFL network Monday morning that Peppers said he is fine and will definitely play Sunday!!!!! We will need him for sure.

I heard on TV last night that some star Seattle player was arrested. It was only a preview, commercial clip for the news though. I didn't stay awake to watch the full report. I will try to look online to see what I can find.

Not sure I understand this comment. Who were we supposed to have picked? Peyton Manning was busy . . . Or did you mean "cornerback"? Charles Tillman covered Smith like Hall of Famer Dick "Night Train" Lane. Of course, the Night Train has been dead since 2002, so that wasn't a good thing.

I'm nervous already anticipating Sunday's game!! It's going to be a long week. If only the Redskins would have cooperated we would be playing at home on Sunday, but that might not have been a good thing as the guys seem to play better on the road!

That Seahawks player should be suspended but I doubt he will be. That Colts player that got stabbed by his wife on Saturday still started the game on Sunday!

Is he sick? Will he be able to play? I just watched the news this morning and they didn't mention anything else about him. When I heard "sick" it made me think it was something other than his injury.
