So.... I am listening to some of the tons of podcasts I'm behind on and just found out that WHAT?! Johnny Depp appeared in full costume @ the D23 Expo as Capt'n Jack and there was a video of it on Utube?! OMG- HOT! I would'a peed my pants!!!

My grandmother is schedule for surgery on Thursday. She's convinced she is going to make it on her cruise on December 7th but I highly doubt she is going to be up too it. I don't think she realizes what major surgery this is!

P, don't you know that you are NOT supposed to clean on your Birthday?

Hey girls. A have a day off today (after some very busy weeks!) I have run several errands already today but my to-do list is still way too long. Greg was commenting the other night on how the house looked and I had to remind him that this is how we used to live when I was working full-time. I think he has forgotten when this was our normal!

LL, I hope your grandma does well and you should not let anyone make you feel guilty about your choice about when to visit her!

I came home from the grocery store this afternoon to find a box on my porch. Pixie dust delivered by the UPS man!!! Thanks C!!!

Did you hear that as part of the DIS' December event there is a 4 hour seminar with Marty Sklar speaking?????? I just think it would be amazing to hear from someone who actually worked with Walt. I am tempted to go just for that. I do still have my WL reservation.

Morning Gnomies!

My grandmother actually had surgery yesterday. All her tests came back so they took her yesterday. Quadruple bypass. She wasn't coming out of the sedation until about 8:30PM last night even though her surgery was at 7AM. They think that is due to her lungs but the surgery itself went very well. Thanks for all the good thoughts, Gnomies!

You still have your WL reservation? Then you should TOTALLY go.

So Greg pulled a muscle at basketball yesterday and decided he needed to have the doctor look at it. Guess who his sub is Pretty sweet deal that he can take a paid day off and I get a paid sub day! Our babysitter e-mailed me yesterday asking if I would be willing to sub for her for 4 days in Feb so she can attend a class. I figure I already know all the kids so why not!

It is a really long time but I guess they were expecting it with her lung issues so they sent everyone home around 2PM saying they wouldn't be able to see her for the rest of the day.

This week is homecoming week so its been pretty busy at school and tomorrow night is our spirit truck competition so my NHS kids and I are going to stay after school to decorate our truck and then have to drive it around the track twice YAY LOL!!!! Oh well a good time will be had by all!

I just found Dr. Pepper flavored jelly beans. You have no idea how happy I am. They are the best things EVER. If only they were sugar free I would be over the moon.

It's kinda weird -- it feels like a Monday, but it's really Thursday!
