Happy Saturday!!

I have a lot of things planned...not necessarily fun or exciting but I have a lot I need to get done!!!! Hope you all have very productive weekends but also find time to relax!! I'm going to be putting together my grocery list here in a few and heading off to Wally World and the bank today!

Good morning! I am planning on doing some Disney packing and preparation today. WOOT (as Jen would say!)!!!

LL- I have not used DU as a TA but having attended the Toy Story event they planned last year and listening faithfully to their podcast every week I wouldn't hesitate to use them. There's a thread on the cruise line board with someone expressing some frustration with Dreams and one of the owners, John, has posted quite professionally welcoming all feedback and stating that he'll do what he can to correct any issues.

I'd give it a try if you're worried about the ADRs.

Wow, quiet weekend so far around here! Must mean half of you are busy with your upcoming trips! Sorry I haven't been around your PTR's much but I wish all of you with magical trips I will definitely be there to read all about them when you come home!!

We had Daniel's birthday party yesterday and had a great time (picnic at the park). then last night a high school friend was in the area and stopped by for a few hours. It was so great to see her and her hubby again!

Today I promised Daniel we would go to the store to exchange a gift (something he already has) then we are going to go to the open house at the home we really like. Not sure why we are tormenting ourselves since there is no job on the horizon

We've been busy playing Wii. I was able to find Dancing with the Stars for $10 so I just got done playing that for two hours! It's quite a workout! I love it. Burning calories and having fun!

I'm debating going to the movies this afternoon since Marc is all geared up for Football and I have ZERO interest in watching it.

Well, Atlanta is flooding. It has been raining non-stop for days and days, and now, it's flooding everywhere. I am hoping to be able to make it home from work today safely seeing as how we are under a flood warning and everything.

I feel a big like Piglet when "the river crept out of its bed and crept right into Piglet's."

Hey girls!

CP, sorry things are a bit stressful with the rain! There is rain forecasted here this week but we are happy because it has been almost a month since the last rain. (although I would never complain of the amazing weather we have been blessed with this month!)

Bummer about going back to work LL! I keep hoping to hit the lotto numbers or have publishers clearinghouse come knock on my door so I don't have to worry about money anymore!

I am subbing today. They called for this last week and last night the middle school also called. The MS secretary asked if I had any other commitments this week so maybe I'll get a couple more calls. I am doing high school biology today. I thought of you Jen when on the vocab review activity they had both observation and inference

Katie, it's great that you are getting subbing jobs! That has got to help with the job/money worry a bit.

I'm patiently waiting for the mail to get here hopefully with my short term disability check. They mailed it last Wednesday so I am really hoping. I've got bills to pay!

YAY for substituting and for thinking of me!! We totally just covered the difference between observation and inference this last week and my students are taking the quiz today...hence the being around more today!!!!!

Leslie...congrats on the starting to work out!! I promise the soreness will eventually go away so keep up the good work!! Trust me I know its not easy!! I'm sure Marc was thrilled to get his tv!!! YAY!!!

Jackie...stay safe driving home!! Take it slow and be careful!!! Just think of all the sunshine you will have in the coming weeks!!

Good Morning Gnomies!!

I am doing much better this morning than I was last night!! If any of you are on Facebook you might have been privileged to some of drama in Prince P's life. Yesterday was his midterm and he took my laptop with him up to the school where he is! Well apparently some setting on my computer messed up and it entered a completly blank midterm and he received a 0 for the grade. That test was worth 30% of his whole grade which pretty much meant he wouldn't get any credit. This was completely devastating to his morale, not only because we are trying to get him ordained by Spring for our move to Austin, but also financially we paid over 1K for that class. Suffice to say I was very upset!! However some very lovely friends (Paula and Leslie) took the time to let me vent and just help me through it, reminding me that God is ultimately in control. Well I prayed about it and left it in God's hands and this morning once again refused to be anxious about it (this was not easy to do). Well when I arrived at work this morning I had an email from Phillip! His professor had misunderstood his first email and has reset the exam and Phillip will be able to retake it tonight!! I am beyond relieved and just wanted to share with you all this!!!!!!
