Did you see that Vera has new patterns? I really, really like the one called Paprika.

I didn't see them! I like all three of them. Very pretty! I'm in love with the Saddle Up bag. So now I have to go see which one looks the prettiest in that....hmmm. I think I like Paprika the best. It's really cute!

Oh I miss you guys! I'm taking a break from working on the house for the next couple of days so I can celebrate my b-day! (Happy Birthday to you too Juelz!). Things have been busy! The house is progressing well and is about half done. But I still have so so so much to do! I have to clean out about five more closets to go through and we have way more painting to do!

I hope you guys are all doing well and having a nice September!

So I caved and order two of Ms. Philippa Gregory's books from Amazon! I ordered The Virgin's Lover (what a title LOL) and The Constant Princess! I really enjoy this time period so I'm really looking forward to these books!!! I'll let you know what I think when I finish them LOL!!

I am having major trip-taking remorse -- I can't even get very excited about leaving on Thursday because I don't want to spend all this money on a four-day trip. I hope I snap out of it soon.

I have zero plans for the weekend. It's my last weekend of freedom before going back to work. BLECH.

I started reading The Lace Reader, it's pretty good so far.

Actually, Charles said we could go to Disney this summer after all -- I want to make sure we go when the Harry Potter theme park is open so I am waiting to see more concrete dates before we decide on a week.

I just keep thinking of all the things we could be doing with that money -- I don't think it helps that I got my pay verification sheet at work yesterday which shows the huge drop from my checks last year.

I can't wait to start The Lace Reader -- I am plodding through the new Pat Conroy, and it is soooo bad -- which makes me sad since he is one of our pride and joys in Charleston.

It's been a long time that a book I was looking forward to didn't live up to my expectations (actually I know exactly what book it was -- Breaking Dawn).

Hi ladies! Stranger Danger!!! he he he... jk. I'm writing from the coziness of my bed at our new house. I went to the old place this morning and took the last of crap and mopped the kitchen floor and blah blah blah and then came back home and crashed... I am so mad at my brother and sister in law. I could've chose any day to close on an empty house and I chose the 17th because that gave me some lay-over time to clean up the old place while settling into the new. So what does my brother do? Schedule two showings to prospective renters for this weekend- a full 5 days AHEAD of when we truly need to be out! So he has been ***ching about "When are you coming to get this that and the other" and I'm like- "You know- we weren't expecting to have to hurry"

ARGH! RUUUUUDE! And then he and his wife have the audacity to be act as though WE are the rude ones to not have it done by now!! Excuse me? We have Sept. paid in full- technically- we could've moved out on the 30th and left a gigantic mess for them and it would've ALLLLLLLLL been there responsibility! Whatever!!!


OK. Rant over.


And CP- to put things in perspective honey- I was totally supposed to be in the Disney this week and I've cried like, 3 times about the fact that I'm not so....be thankful, WOMAN! ;P

So who is all in FL then? I am getting Jen's tweets.... totally fun, btw.


Today I picked up an application at Bed Bath Beyond for nights and weekends for extra $$... do you think I would hate it? Hmmm.....

Ok, now to drag my cozy butt outta this cozy bed and get back to work... my work vacay is o-v-e-r on Monday!

Phew. Marc & I just spent the last two hours cleaning out our bedroom closet, getting rid of some too big clothes and just organizing. Holy Moly are we messy. I can deal with mess as long as it's behind closet doors but that was getting ridiculous!
