Morning girls!
Trying to channel some strength to get through the day! It was one of "those" days at work yesterday...the one where you wonder if the place is being run by a group of monkey's instead of educated individuals. I mean seriously...one secretary couldn't find a form in my box yesterday because the student asked her to look for a pink form and it was salmon colored THEN Dr. Principal looked in Mr Schafer's box for the form instead of mine. All of this could even have been avoided if the counselor had simply sent me a quick e-mail instead of assuming that somehow I was going to find the form in my box while teaching a full schedule!
That doesn't even get me started on the principal who rescheduled a student in my class who didn't do anything for 3 months and now wants her in there 2 periods a day because she keeps skipping her 4th hour study hall
Oh yeah, and now on top of all my housework I am behind on combined with holiday preparations not done...I have a cold!
It's a good thing it is Friday because if I was facing 4 straight days of school before break, I don't think I would make it!
MM...good to hear from you! Here's hoping you'll get to stop by a bit more the next 2 weeks! i agree with the others...explain the perks of staying on property but if they are limited to offsite, try to change your take on the vacation a bit. Don't think of it as a Disney vacation but rather a vacation with friends where you get to visit Disney too. You can make it work!
I'm hoping Kingdom Keepers won't change my take on IASW...I do love it so!

I always have to remind myself to slow down and enjoy the holidays! And I hope you feel better soon! 
I too have some sniffles that are trying to grow into a head cold. And don't worry about Kingdom Keepers, I still love IASW too!
Oh and work everyday until Christmas Eve! It's one of those weeks I'm thankful to not have my own family because I wouldn't have any time for them! Plus I'm hiding in my bed with a head-cold....yuck! Could Christmas be next week instead? 
Maybe Jen just has something extra special planned for 2012 and she is REALLY looking forward to it!
