Gnomes Gnomes on the Range!

Hey Gnomies!!

Congrats Stacy on passing your Road test!! That is awesome!!

Hopefully all our northern gnomies are starting to thaw out a bit!!! Ughh snoveling snow does not sound fun at all!!

Pssst!

It's a happy day for me....

No more football in my house until August!

Shhhhh!!

Don't tell anyone.

I might be tarred and feathered if my neighbors...or husband knew how happy I was.

:dance3::dance3::dance3:

LL, you clearly don't live in the middle of the US! with the Packers and Bears still in it, there are a lot of happy people around here! now me...I don't really care and neither does my hubby. Luckily, both of us really only love basketball so we share the madness at the same time!

He will probably watch the Superbowl but I don't mind that because I like seeing the commercials. :lmao:

That's the only reason I watch the Super Bowl, too! :rotfl:

So, we watched the Golden Globes last night -- so happy Glee won, but I was disappointed The King's Speech didn't win more. The darn Social Network took all the big awards. Now Chelsea wants to see it.

They censored a whole lot last night, I want to know what they said! :rotfl:

I'm upset that Michael C. Hall and Julia Stiles didn't win for Dexter!! Argh. I stopped watching Glee because I just don't have enough time but I'm happy that the boy who plays Kurt won, he was so shocked and amazed!

I also wanted to throw up everytime they panned over to Angelina Jolie leaning on Brad Pitt.

LOL!!! I too watch the Super Bowl only for the commercials....Phillip pauses it for me so I can run back in and watch them LOL!!!!!

MY SHELLY WON!!! That was the highlight of my evening when Jim Parsons won....he is SO good!!!! BAZINGA!!!! Other than that I was happy for Glee too!!!!!

I said the same thing to Charles. I especially wanted to know what Robert de Niro said during his speech. LOL!

He was so touched by the award, and I was excited Jane Lynch won, too. She is amazing as Sue Sylvester.

:rotfl: Was it just me or did her hair look like she had a bad dye job and needed a trim?

I hear so many things about The Big Bang Theory -- I have a friend who watches it and says it was written for me, but then, I always forget to watch it.

I highly recommend Big Bang Theory...it is hilarious and well written!!! Sheldon just rocks that show (of course you can't forget Leonard, Penny, Howard, and Raj they are all good too LOL I'm just biased) You would like it a lot Jackie!! If you ever want to borrow the seasons let me know!!!!

Good Morning Gnomies!!!!

I totally missed the GG last night! UGH!!! We have been quite distracted though this weekend, so it makes complete sense. Glad to hear that Sheldon won!!! I LOVE that show, and Sheldon just might be the most perfect character on TV.....perfectly performed that is! Jackie, you should watch it.....too funny, and you would SO love Sheldon! :)

I have LOTS of Disney planning to do today.....for my parents who are going down for their 40th wedding anniversary in March for a long weekend, and for our July trip. Doesn't that sound like the perfect way to spend the day off!?!?!?! :)

Love you Gnomies!

WAIT...CP, you've never seen Big Bang? :scared1: It's the BEST!!!! I didn't watch last night but I'm happy to hear Jim won!

I think Chelsea could handle the Social Network. It's very smart in my opinion. It may make her think twice about how she chooses to do her own social networking...there is a tiny bit of questionable material (more toward the end), but she's a smart girl! I have to say I think it deserved all of the awards it won! But I am VERY happy that Colin Firth won best actor! That was definatly very much deserved!

I've never seen it either. :rolleyes1 I know a lot of people think Jim Parsons is very funny and I'm sure he's a great actor, but something about him just makes my skin crawl! I can't stand it! I've heard that the show is wonderful though!

Actually I was quite impressed with many of the awards! I thought there were a lot of unneccesary nominations, but that most of the winners were great. Like Colin Firth, Natalie Portman, Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Katey Sagal, Toy Story 3 and more! Luckily I was off on Monday so when the awards were over I went to a late showing of Tron.....not my fave! The special effects were cool, Garret Hedlund is hot, and Jeff Bridges is great....but I didn't love it...Michael Sheen gives me the creeps!

Hey ladies,

If you each have a moment, could you say a special prayer for a 3 yr. old boy? This afternoon at work in our parking lot, a little boy was run-over and he's in critical condition. The saddest part, the police are pretty sure that it was his mom....it's just a sad sad situation. Thanks:angel:

What a terrible story, Stacey. I hope he's ok.

Well, more snow here in CT. As if 3 feet weren't enough. :headache:

SNOW DAY Girls!!! I am in heaven right now! :) :) :)

Stace---will definitely pray for that little boy and his whole family.... HOW AWFUL!

oh my goodness Stace! Was it an accident or intentional?

Apparently the mother is saying she didn't know he wasn't in the car....which is....I don't know...She had a baby with her as well and the police think she was just flustered (they were coming from Toys R Us so it's totally possible I guess) and she just wasn't thinking. She's not being charged for the moment. Unfortunately, he didn't make it. He died this morning....it's just awful...thank you all for your prayers. Can you imagine....horrible...so so sad.:sad1:

:goodvibes Hey Stace! How are things in the frozen north?

Guess what I got in the mail this week? A PIN code!! (actually it came to Patrick but I will assume when they look into their Disney computers, they will realize my 9 year old doesn't have a credit card with which to book a room ) It's a great room-only rate, 35% off values! For the week I hope to go in November, that brings the room down to $62/night. Even my parents agree that's a fantastic deal and I see a booking in the near future :cool1:

My dream at this point is to fly to Florida the day before Thanksgiving, spend 4 nights at my parents place and spend the holiday with them and my aunts/uncles. Then we would drive to Orlando with my parents and possibly one of my aunts/uncles on Sunday and spend the week, by 40th b-day being that Wednesday :wizard: I don't know whether Greg would come or not. Between having to leave a week of lesson plans as well as missing some basketball, I just don't know that he will feel like he can go (plus I tried tempting him into saying yes by commenting that maybe he can take a mini trip by himself to a guitar factory in CA that he keeps talking about)

How are things with the other gnomies? When do LL and Jen return?
