We are hoping to see Stepmother and her girls on this trip. Supposedly, Brooklynn is going to tell the stepmother to be nice to Cinderella, but Jill and I are laying odds that that's not gonna happen! Day 6 - My Bday cont.

On Wednesday of my trip, I was celebrating my bday! After spending a couple of hours solo, DISers Klofan (Pete) and Antss (= PAntss) joined me. After lunch, and seeing a parade, we walked through Liberty Square. For the very first time, I noticed the Liberty Tree. It's a big tree with Lanterns on it. How could I have missed this?

When we walked passed Liberty Tree Tavern, I saw one of the servers in costume standing at the door. I told PAntss that if I had to work as a server, it would be there, since I like their costumes the best! HA! So what did I do? I went over and got a pic!

Soon we were nearing Pirates of the Caribbean! But much to my disappointment, it was CROWDED! There was a zig zag line to go inside! NOOOO!!! And the sign said that it was a 30 minute wait!

There was a CM near us, so I walked over to her.

I told her that it was NO WAY that the line was 30mins. She said that it was. I said, "Look at that line"! I told the CM and PAntss that I REALLY wanted to ride it, but there was NO WAY I was getting in that line! Then I looked at the CM and said, "It's my birthday, I REALLY wanna ride this! But I can't wait in that line. Is there a Birthday FastPass, Front of the Line something"? She tilted her head to side (as if saying "no"), then said, "Wait here". She went to another CM, and told them my "situation". While they were talking, I told PAntss quickly, "keep straight faces, look casual". The CM then briskly walks up and says, "Come with me".



She led us to a door for CMs only. I said, "wait, should I have my camera ready"? She said, "NO, no pics. Have you ever been backstage before"? I said "No, I've never been back here before . . . I'm putting my camera AWAY"!

When we went through, we saw Captain Hook and Shmee getting ready to come out. I waved! Then, before we were about to go through another door, she said something like - try to stay cool, don't smile too much or anything, afterall, these people have been waiting a long time. So I turn to PAntss and say "No eye contact, no eye contact, straight faces"!

When she openned the door, it was really dark, and I couldnt tell where we were. When my eyes focused, we were AT THE LOADING DOCK FOR THE BOATS! She walked up to the CM loading the guests and said, "I have some guests for you". He directed us to a row, and we got directly on the boat that was waiting.

As the boat was pulling off PAntss and I giggled and laughed, and oh-my-God-ed, and can you belieeeeeve this"? We felt like ROCK STARS!!!!! This was TRULLY one of the BESTEST EVER, most GOODEST thing that has ever happend to me at Disney World! Pantss, I'm so glad you two were there to share this moment with meeeee!!!


We were soooo high and giddy after our ride, as we headed into the gift shop. There, Antss bought Pete and I leather Mickey Head key chains. Mine is lime green with "GMAX" on it. So I'll start using this as my Mickey Head on my bag for furture trips! Thanks Antss!


Through the bars on the side of the shop, we could see Peter and Wendy posing for pics. Of course, insted of standing in line, I took pics of them through the bars! I know CMs HATE me! HA!

As we were leaving, we also spotted Hook and Shmee!

Now what I have neglected to tell you all, is how people stared and gawked at me the WHOLE time I had the tiara on. Even PAntss were noticing, and kept commenting about the stares! People looked at me as if we weren't in Disney World but a bank, or church or something, and then I came walking in with a tiara on. I'll have Pete of "PAntss" to demonstrate:

Of course, this just added to the fun for me! And yes, I WILL do it again in the future!
