Gmail issues???

Within the past 2 days, I have noticed my Gmail account displays new emails on my cell phone, but NOT on my home PC. Previously, every new email I received would show up in BOTH places. I tried sending myself an email from my PC and it never gets sent. I looked around online to see if there is any current issue and most of the things I find are from 6 months or more ago. Is anyone else having an issue with their Gmail? I would assume if it is some sort of technical issue on their end, it would resolve itself without me having to do anything.

I have NOT installed any new software recently on my PC so I am sure that is not the reason for this issue.

Tried a few other things. I can access Gmail from either Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. Have always used Edge successfully in the past. When I open Gmail using Google Chrome it works fine. It seems the problem is accessing Gmail using Microsoft Edge. Apparently something has recently changed, so I will just use Chrome going forward !!!

No issues with mine either. I just tried sending a test email from my computer and my phone, and they both went right to my phone and my desktop.

I would check settings in your cell first to see if it’s synchronized with your PC.

Cell phone isn't the problem. I was previously getting new emails on BOTH my PC and my cell phone with no issues. The problem is that a few days ago I noticed new emails would appear on my phone but didn't show up on my PC using Microsoft Edge. (A test email I tried sending to myself using my PC also was never sent and just sits in the draft area). Seems to me that perhaps a recent Edge update messed up the Gmail application. A few weeks ago, my printer stopped working after another Edge update. Then a few weeks later when I tried again the printer was working fine. I had changed nothing about the printer/settings/etc., so I am wondering if these Edge updates are causing the problem. Once Microsoft finds out the updates cause issues, they make further changes to resolve whatever was wrong.

I added Gmail to my Google Chrome application and emails again appear on my PC. So I just won't use Edge to access my PC emails anymore.

Did you scroll down areas to make sure you re viewing all emails. Sometimes another view hiding some may get switched on.

I looked around on Gmail and didn't notice that to be an issue. Not being able to send myself a test message would also seem unrelated to the sort order of incoming mail and seems more like a software issue. I have the sort order setup to display all emails with the newest ones at the top of the list.
