GMA Article on Epilepsy misdiagnosed as Autism

Just thought I'd share as ds was misdiagnosed as not having autism but many other things before having an EEG and diagnosed with seizures.

That's interesting. Before our developmental pediatrician would give Kayla the autism diagnosis, we had to do a 24 hour EEG with the pediatric neurologist.

DH and I both saw that segment on GMA. We thought it was interesting because we had to do the 24 hour EEG and an MRI in the diagnosing processes.
