My older brother was diagnosed this year with Celiacs disease and so we have never done Disney gluten free. (he is also deathly allergic to tree nuts so we know how good Disney is about allergies :thumbsup2) i just had two questions:

1.Do they have gluten-free pretzels anywhere in Disney World?

2.Does Earl of Sandwich have gluten-free bread for Celiacs?

Thanks for the help :goodvibes

My sister is on her way down this week and also has celiac disease. You need to call Disney and request gluten free meals. They are very helpful and even if you go to a buffet, the chef will come out and point out the dishes that you can eat. You can also inquire as to whether they have gluten free at the places you listed. I know that most counter services also have gluten free meals. You will probably end up waiting a while for it to be made, so go early on, don't wait until the rush.

They have gluten free products but not a huge variety and I haven't seen pretzels. Mainly packaged cookies and brownies but a few other packaged things here and there. Most of the WDW owned restaurants have enerG rolls, rice pasta, pizza crust, vans waffles, etc but it's the same few things place to place. Earl of Sandwich is not WDW owned and they don't carry special allergy safe foods. They do have salads though. None of their desserts are nut safe. The new babycakes place in DTD has tons of gluten free options. They do use flours processed on the same machines as nut flours though so it really depends on his comfort level with the cleaning procedures between batches. There are details on their website.
