gluten free Palo?

My husband and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary aboard the Magic and have booked Palo for dinner. I assume they can accomodate gluten free but do I need to notify them ahead of time? If so then when?

Any experiences to share? I hope I can eat there and will enjoy it!

My husband and I are both strictly gluten free. We went on a Magic cruise last fall - it was fabulous. Here is the link to the trip report that I wrote for our family & friends.

We ate well for every meal and even went to Palo twice.

NOtifying them in advance allows them to be prepared to give you a great experience. I would have this noted on your reservation, and phone Palo after boarding to remind them. Placing the notification on your reservation informs the main dining room chefs/servers of your needs as well.

A phone call to Palo after you board will take care of it. You could also go to the Palo reservations line (why stand in line if you don't need to?) or go up to Palo at any day prior to your reservation. The easiest is to simply leave a message on their answering machine.

My wife and I are GF. We ate like royalty all week on our last Magic cruise. Palo was fabulous. We did tell them in advance (onboard) and placed a request for GF fried calamari (they marinate their calamari overnight in buttermilk), which they prepared for us.

My favorite was being able to get GF pancakes every morning!
