Does anyone know what (if any) GF cereals are available at the resorts?? Captain Cooks in particular??

There are several mainstream cereals that are GF now and I was just wondering if Disney carried any of these? My son loves Rice/Corn Chex and Fruity Pebbles and I'd love to be able to just grab those there if possible and not have to pack them for him. ;)

We bring our own!! I pack individual servings in plastic ziplock bags, inflate the bags just a little bit to keep the cereal from turning into crumbs (LOL) and pack them in between clothing layers in the suitcase. Then just ask for a bowl and a little cup full of milk at the TS restaurant, pull out your cereal, and you're good to go!

It also makes me feel better doing that, knowing that I'll have the GF version of the cereal and there won't be any cross-contamination or mixup in the kitchen. :thumbsup2

You can also order from Garden Grocer and have them deliver the groceries to your resort. We do that for a 24 case of water to bring our own to the parks (way cheaper!), and some of our snacks and breakfast foods (like Almond milk, yogurt, things we can't pack). I also do pack some things that are easy, like bars and sunflower seeds.

You can also pack your "crushables" in a shoebox. That's what I do when we go to Disney. Then you have guaranteed space for coming home!

I wouldn't count on WDW having GF cereal. While Pebbles, Chex, and Rice Krispies are all available GF now, I only buy them if the box actually says, "Gluten Free". There seem to be Pebbles boxes that say GF but some that have been on the shelf a while and don't and of course there are regular and GF Rice Krispies. Cereal isn't too heavy to pack, but it will take up some space. If you can't bring it with you, can you stop at a store and buy some when you get there or have one of the grocery services bring it to you.
