Glowing Drinks

What resturants have you gotten these with a childern's meal on the dining plan? What resturants offer these and how much are they in not offered with the dining plan? Hoping to get some for DS and DD when there but DS(7) is on the dinig plan and DD(2) isn't. So I have to pay OOP for either a meal for DS and have 2 childern's meal where they are part of the dining plan or pay for two off the dining plan. Tring to see which makes more sense. Hope this makes sense to someone.

I've read that these are not on dinner plan, I think like $5 and they have them at Sci-Fi and some other places.

The only 2 restaurants that I know have them is Sci Fi(red Glows) and Coral Reef(called the Blue Whale)!

We got the drinks at 50's Prime Time. They came in a kiddy(?) drink and also in the "adult" version. We go blue ones but saw other colors there too. Maybe they are at other resturants, too.

p.s. you can buy the lghted ice cubes at Targeez so you can make them at home too!

At, Le'Cellier also they had them... the drink looked cool, but we didn't care for the taste.

I just bought the light up ice cubes at Christmas Tree Shop: four for a dollar... can't beat that!

Just returned 2 weeks ago and got them at Sci-fi. The price was 5.99 for a non alcoholic drink in a souvenir cup. The colors were blue,red,& green.

My kids loved their drinks, adds to the atmosphere of the place.

we got them at WL in the Whispering Canyon. Think they were called a Firefly. This was in 2003 so maybe not now, my kids are looking forward to getting new ones in Nov. as they wore the other ones out.

Concourse Steak House has them, and have even been including them in the meal plan!

Thanks ya'll I really think my kids will go for these and help with DH and I being able to eat in peace. So far we are planning Concourse Steakhouse and Le Ceiller. The others aren't on our list but now I know if I change things where to look at.

The Christmas Tree Store is a chain of stores in Mass., Maine and I'm not sure where else. HTH

Does anyone know if they have a non-carbonated version of a drink with lighted cubes? My son will definitely want one but my daughter (who will definitely want whatever her brother wants) doesn't drink any soda. Would she be able to get lemonade in a souvenir cup with the cubes for the same price as a special drink with cubes?

Went to the Coral Reef in May and DS got a blue whale and DD (3) wanted one but I don't let her have soda so the server let us buy a cube. I can't remember how much it was but it was worth it.

We ended up with about four cubes after our last trip - all from adult drinks. I know a couple of them camne from Rose N Crown and the Concourse Steakhouse. I have since informed DH that during our trip next year I will be collecting as many as I can (whether from sodas or adult beverages.) DH pointed out I could just go to the store and buy them, but what fun would that be! They wouldn't be from Disney!

My nieces got light-up cubes at the Sci-Fi in June with their soda and the server just added it to our meal plan. I was expecting to pay for them, so it was a nice surprise. I don't know if they normally put it in the meal plan or if our server was just super nice!
