glow with the Show going Fantasmic

I just don't know about this. I saw these things at World of Color and it seems like such a good idea. But when you are actually in the middle of all those flashing ears just above eye level, it really is distracting to the show. The advantage of World of Color is that most of the show is well above your head and above all the flashing.

But now you have Fantasmic. Most of that show is at or near eye level. Those flashing lights are bound to be in direct view of the show. And if you are sitting on the pavement in the sections right in front of the River, now the ears are going to be right in the way and an incredible distraction.

I have a very bad feeling about this!

I agree, and I have not even seen either show yet! :)
I have just seen pictures of WOC with all the ears lit up and I thought the same thing then.... disstracting from the actual show. Does anyone else who has seen WOC with all the glowing ears feel this way?

As much as I love, and want, a set of those ears, it just looks irritating in the pics I've seen of the shows. Not a good idea for F! at all if you ask me, but alas, they did not, ask me that is.

My "knee-jerk" thought when 1st reading this news was that the powers that be at Disney were trying to make the cost of the ears more appealing by saying they are good for more than one event. But, who knows. . . . ??

Agree! Likely distracting, but a $ maker for DL, so likely to be around :(.
