Globalfest Fireworks competition used EPCOT music!!!*ADDED VIDEO*

Hey guys!

Just got back from the fireworks competition and tonight's entry was from Canada. So we were sitting there and the music was starting to play....boom........boom........boom....boom...boom..boom
(Rob says: Hey, sorta sounds like Illuminations music)

boom! dah danana dah.....
(Cass says: HEYYYYYYYYYYY this IS Illuminations music!!!!!!!!!!!"

I couldn't believe it! At first I was like hmmm ...are they allowed to play that???? Then I got into it, was singing it (like most of you I'm sure, since I own the soundtrack from the Millenium Celebration, we know every single note by heart) and then really really enjoyed a little bit of Disney at home!!!

They did a really good job with the choreography but it was weird seeing different fireworks with that music!

So...it ends and then the next part comes up and.....

HEY!!!!!!!!! It's TAPESTRY OF DREAMS MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!



It was so neat!

We live a few neighbourhoods north of the park, so were watching from our backyard. From there we can't hear the music, but Canada definitely has had the best display so far. Many unique fireworks. Also, it has been the best weather night for the displays.

Should be fun to watch the grand finale tonight!

Yes, they were great fireworks! I saw so many people watching from roads nearby and we thought of doing that too at one time but I am so glad we paid the $5 to get on the grounds because it really was a nice little touch that they had Epcot music!! But it really, really made me want to go back to WDW and we don't have a trip planned

Thanks! I just take tons of pictures and about half of them turn out That's the best thing about digital, it doesn't cost to keep snappping away endlessly

WOW!!! Cass, the videos were fabulous and the fireworks were spectacular!! I wish I could have been there to see it in person! What a thrill it must have been to hear Illuminations and Tapestry to those fireworks.

All I had to do was set the connection speed and away it went.

Thank you so much for sharing your pictures and the videos. I also have the Millennium cd but it was so neat to see fireworks along with the Tapestry music.

I don't have a trip planned either, just back from 2 weeks in July, but really, really want to go back too.
