We will actually be there at the same time, 6/22-6/30. Your TRs gave me hope that we will actually survive the heat, and still have a great time.

So, you're a summertime visitor too, huh? Yes, it'll be hot....but you will survive, and you'll definitely have a great time. Direct your family to Epcot's "Club Cool" for a nice, refreshing beverage.

So...where will you be staying? On-site? Have you lined-up some good ADRs?

No more charts, quizzes, or surveys, but I plan to do an update on what ADRs I got and times and such. You could speed it up by finding me internet pictures of signs of the restaurants I got.

We are staying at the Beach Club. This is our first trip, and I really wanted to maximize the experience by staying on site. We liked being able to walk to 2 of the parks, and Stormalong Bay looks great. Hopefully that will help with the heat. We are used to hot days here in So. Cal, but I am pretty apprehensive about the humidity.

I have only made a few ADRs at this point. I got CRT (not too excited about this one, but DD is a huge princess fan, and the idea of being in the castle for a meal will make her swoon.), Les Chefs (my choice- sorry that you didn't win the poll on that one), H&V (characters for DS) and Cape May for dinner.

We are Disneyland Vets, so knocking out character sightings at a meal is of great value to us even though there is probably better food to be had.

You're going to love staying on-site. I've never stayed at the Beach Club, but that's on my list of places I'd like to try...for just the reasons you mention -- proximity to Epcot and DHS, and Stormalong Bay.

Oh yeah, it's going to be super hot and you're going to sweat from places that you didn't even know had sweat glands, but you're still going to have a blast.

If you have young kids, the character meals make a LOT of sense. Seeing the characters there might allow you to skip them in the parks and concentrate on rides. (But don't count on it.)

I must have "spit takes" on the brain right now because when I was at the car dealer waiting to hear what they'd give me for my trade-in, I got a cup of coffee. I told Judy that when he comes back and starts talking, I'm going to take a sip of this coffee....and well, based on the number....she should just get ready to shield herself.
