Day 2 Cont.
MM and I were completely confused when we saw these men. The first that caught our eye were two BEE-YOU-TEE-FUL Black men, one with Dread Locs, talking to each other. That did it. Who were they? How can we get back in. I walked over to the ticket counter and asked one of the guys. He told me that it was GAY WEEKEND and tonight they had MGM from 10pm to 1am.
oh wait . . . gay, he said gay right . . .
After he walked away, we noticed a change in the Disney-esque MGM music. It went from "Lah - Lah - Lah - Magic" to " BOOM BOOM BOOM - - - BOOM BOOM BOOM ". I peek down the street where The Hat is, and all I see is smoke/fog and flashing lights. Ok, we REALLY needed to get in!!!! So as we're standing there, a nice looking (but short) guy comes over. "You guys comming in? You have boyfriends? You know what this is right?" We're like yes, we are taken - one married, one dating, yes we know what it is, yes we need to get in!!!! So he says that he doesnt have his tix yet, but his "friend" is getting him one. So we're waiting with him. So his friend comes. But he's not getting us in, only him.
How 'Bout he tells us that it costs
$95 to get in, and Taylor Dane is performing. The only rides that were going to be open were ToT and RnR.
We start talking though, and his friend and I live in the same city, and he works near my house. But still no ticket.
Well, MM and I decide to sit and watch the guys for a minute. Then here they come . . . the MOTHER LOAD . . . SHUTTLE BUSES! Oh, yes, MM and I REALLY made ourselves comfortable then.
LOADS AND LOADS of some of the most attractive, well dressed, good smelling men that you have EVER seen in your life!!! We were stunned!
I have NEVER seen men that attractive in my REAL life EVER!!! I'm talking all heights, races, Nationalities, and languages.
Now you have to remember, alot of these men have probably been treated like CARP, and were a bit defensive-looking at people looking back at them. But if only they knew! I was in awe, and a bit sad at the same time! ALL OF THESE FINE MEN ARE GAY!!!!! Well, what are we to do but sit and stare!
I wanted to pull my camera out sooooooooo badly and get some good pics and video. But what if some of them were on the down-low and ripped the camera out of my hands, thinking I was trying to spy! So unfortunantly, Lady DISers, all I have to remember this moment is my memory - and oh what memories they are . . .
After awhile we even called DISer Lan to see if she wanted to come next year on Gay weekend and follow the guys around from park to park. She said "YEAH"!!!! HA! So there is a chance that there may be an all girls trip next year to Gay Weekend to stare at men we can't have!
Finally, the CMs were trying to get the straight visitors to leave the area. I believe some were making comments, and I saw that some had disgusted looks on thier faces. So before we left, we took this pic:
While we were over there, a male couple were waiting. So I started talking to one of them. I asked if there was a website with the events on it. When he turned to face me, he looked like the fantasy Scandinavian Ski Instructor you would see in movies. He was SUPER FINE! He looked like a real-life Race Bannon from Johnny Quest. He was about 6'2" had a square jaw, perfect teeth, and when he smiled, his whole face smiled.
But I'm sure when I talked to him, it sounded like "I waa dah doo haa baah doo" giggle giggle
Well, saddend that the man-watching event was over, the 2 of us made the slow walk to the stop for French Quarter. As we were going over, a CM asked where we were going, then said he would get us a bus. It was then I really looked around and noticed that there were NO buses. I looked at my watch, and we'd been out there for OVER AN HOUR!!!!!! When the bus came, the guy told us that he'd been sent JUST TO GET US!!!!!
So imagine, me and crazy MM on the bus with just the driver, in the dark with GLOW jewerly on!!!! WE HAD A BALL!
The driver was telling us stories (all of which I wont share) and we were laughing and dancing! One thing I will tell is, the driver said that some of the most interesting runs are from Downtown Disney at close. One couple in the back of the bus, even started getting to "know" each other. WOW!
Traffic was a bit backed up getting out, because of all the men comming in. We saw some FABULOUS cars, and tricked-out motor coaches!
Well, this was certainly an interesting evening. I just wish I could've taken pics
That night, we went back to our room, ate Beignets in our Disney Pjs, and talked about all the men we saw . . . .
MM noticed an envelope on the table. It was a signed Birthday Card from Mickey Mouse to me!
What a way to end such a FUN day!
