She must have been there early because it was SOOOO busy by lunchtime-evening everywhere! I had never seen september 10-16 so busy this year. We were disappointed and we are now going to start going in January if the free dining keeps up. We loved the free food- but we'd rather pay for it than be in the heat/crowds we encountered. It wasn't as bad as summer- but pretty close.

I agree! Glenda's reports are very well written and fun!! I wish more were like hers!

I can only hope of ever being in the park when it's that slow. A teacher's schedule has me going at only the busiest times.

Unless I skip school, like I'm doing IN FOUR DAYS! Even at that, it's looking like there will be forty thousand Disers alone there, much less any other regular folks.

Rain, crowds, lovebugs, and all, I'll be happy to be there...in four days.

I won't be on the boards with you for those middle of the night PM sessions after Wednesday. I'll be on my way to see a headless horseman....(sing it with me) in four days. I was already excited, but after seeing bradk's pictures on the Theme Parks board this morning, I'm past excited!

If I don't see you on my thread or yours before I leave....(your turn now) __ ____ ____ , keep the midnight oil burning until I return. This is a short, short trip, so unfortunately, I'll be back before I can blink.

The good thing is, it won't be that much longer until we go for Christmas.

Okay, now you know what I do with my third graders.
Tell it clearly.
Tell it again.
They join in.
They take over.

It's just that I can't tell my third graders about this. They might not be happy that their teacher is skipping school. I'm not even going to tell them I'm going to be gone. I don't want them to have enough warning to prepare for any antics with a sub!

Have a good rest of the weekend. I hope you're back to full speed now, or close to it. Can't have such a bright, fun spirit squashed down by any sick bugs!

Thanks for sharing your trip. I did WDW solo several times before I got married and enjoyed it immensely. I know what you mean about thinking what are you going to do, eating alone and stuff, but I always seemd to find someone to talk too and that was WAY before I discovered the Dis

Oh me, too! I had to take a double dose of the allergy meds today, and its not helping. I hate this time of year!

Hang in there, girl! Judging from how red our maple tree is getting out front, we are getting pretty seriously into fall, so no matter what the temperature is, a good frost can't be that far away, and with it the end of the pollen and stuff.

Hey Glenda, just found your TR yesterday and read a little yesterday, then finished the rest today. I'm so sorry you got sick during your trip. I hate I couldn't meet up with you, but it was really crazy touring with 7 other people. I can't believe I never saw you--we were in the same parks a couple of days. We were planning on going to Fantasmic on 9/11, too, but saw all of the lightning and decided not to chance it with 4 young kids. We never did get to see it this trip, thanks to the weather! Oh my gosh, wasn't it HOT!?! Sounds like January might be a better option next time, if they offer free dining Sounds like you had a GREAT time, even though you were sick. Can't believe you rode TOT--I will NEVER ride this one! I don't freefall. It's just NOT NORMAL! Anyways, hopefully, I can start a TR soon (my first one). Thanks for your great TR!
