Gleicher's Camp- Day 2

Woke up several times in the middle of the night and had to walk to the comfort stations to use the bathroom. Finally,

7am- Woke up. Kind of soggy outside. Just morning dew. Get boys ready, pack for the day and

8am- go to breakfast at Trail End. LOVED breakfast. Great price and a great meal.

9:30am- Got to Epcot. Did Innoventions West. Sent e-mail pictures to family and friends. Did Coke Ice Station. Buurrrr, cold. Played with snow.

12:noon- Went to the Food and Wine Fest in World Showcase. Ate our way around the world. Had margarita in Mexico, Beef tenderloin in Brazil, clam chowder in America, peanut chicken satay in China, Beck's beer in Germany, french bread in France. It rained on and off all day. Saw Mo'rockin band in Morocco. LOVED them.

5pm- Got back to FW to our tent. Open tent door to find it totally flooded. All our stuff is soaking wet and floating around the tent. I called the front desk, crying. They sent someone to help us dry our stuff. I went and made arrangements to stay at the All Stars Movies Resort cause out tent was leaking too bad. When I returned to our site I found my DH talking to the property manager. He was offering us a cabin at the same price we paid for the tent site. The property manager said he didn't want us to leave FW and wanted us to have a wonderful vacation from now on. He took us to our cabin, told me where I could go and dry all our stuff for free. You have NO idea how relieved we we're! I thanked everyone for helping us, gave hugs and went to dry our stuff.

9pm- Dried all the stuff, put boys to bed, ploped down on the couch and passed out! OOoohhhh a nice warm bed. Thank you FW!!!!!!

I had made my own arrangements once we found the flood. It was FW and WDW that offered the cabin to me. The magic lived on, even after our stuff was ruined. They were able to make us all feel so much better and kept our Disney vacation going on a positive note.

The food all day this day was great. With all the walking we did, I bet I still put on weight. I can't help but eat in Disney, there are so many tempting, scrumptious delights. This day was a good day for food!

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear your tent was flooded. How awful to come back to that. But on the positive side, Disney magic to the rescue! Sounds like you guys had a nice day (except for the tent thing).

Too bad your tent leaked but how nice that the manager let you have a cabin for the same price as the tent site. Lucky!
