This thread is wonderful. I'm straight, but this is not the type of support for gays I usually see. I've grown up in the bible belt, and there is no such thing as GSA around here. We've had a couple people come out as bi at my school, and after getting beat up a few times, they've at least pretended that they went back to being straight. It drives me nuts that they're shunned so much, but fighting it takes a while (Though success is coming in short spurts).

It always reminds me of the 30 Rock episode with Al Gore and David Schimmer, when David's character was in that commercial:

"So-and-so wants an all gay army. What will that do to my family?"

Haha, it's ridiculous that people are bothered by this.

OMG Adamo! hehe I <333 him. I love Degrassi, and Marco is totally my fav character. XD.

I'm a CSP, but my best friend is gay. I was actually the first person he came out to *thinks* three years ago.
And being in theatre, I know a bunch of gay guys too! (sorry to stereotype the theatre=gay guy thing, but in my case, it's true)
