Glasses/ Sunglasses

I have them all....regular perscription glasses, transitions, perscription sunglasses and ...contacts. I was so scared with the contacts as I only got them a year ago. The reason I got them was because I was tired of changing my glasses. I LOVED my contacts at the parks and the waterparks.
It was so nice to be able to see all day and night without having to bring two different pairs of glasses with me.(My DD's still have not let me live down the day I only brought my precription sunglasses and we ended up staying at the MK until 1a.m!! Sunglasses in the dark....are very dark:rotfl: )

My husband has those magnetic sun glasses that fit right over his regular glasses. He really likes them since he just leaves his glasses on and pops the shades into place when he goes outside. If he's going on a coaster, he puts his glasses into a case and carries it in his fanny pack or I carry it in my bag.

When I had contacts, I would just use a non-prescription pair of sun glasses over the contacts. I do the same thing since my laser surgery! I like to keep my sun glasses on a cord around my neck so I don't have to keep taking them off and putting them away. If you have two pairs of glasses, you could try wearing one on a cord to make it easier.

Since my eyes are somewhat light sensitive, I always buy glasses that have some kind of sunglass clip. (My current clip is one of the magnetic kind.) Transitions glasses just don't get dark enough for me and I quit wearing contact lenses after dealing with dry eyes and one too many scares of "losing" a lens off to the far side of an eye. I usually take a backpack with me when I go to the parks and use the front pocket to stow my glasses case in. For me, it's second nature to quickly and easily take on and off the clip.

DH wears glasses and the last two pairs that we have purchased, include "clip-on" sunglasses. They are really neat! They are magnetic and clip right on to the front of the frames. They are made especially for the glasses, so they match perfectly. All we have to carry is the slim case, so when we go inside...he unclips them and puts them away. He wasn't sure if he was going to like them at first, but they have been great! :thumbsup2
And they are cost-effective because they come with the glasses...so they don't cost any extra. Only certain brands have them, but he has always been able to find a frame that he likes. The sunglasses are just a bonus! :goodvibes

I have these too and they are great although they seem to slip off pretty easily. i also have a pair of clip ons that actually grip the lense. Not the best option but better to me than buying prescription sunglasses or contacts.

I used contacts for years...with sunglasses in bright light. I have since given up the contacts. Tried transitions and didn't like them. Tried clip-on shades...no good...let too much light in the sides. I now have prescription sunglasses and love them. This is what I recommend.
