Gladstones Malibu Beach questions

Can you swim at the beach where Gladstones is located. DD wants to spend the afternoon there before our dinner reservation at 7pm. Is there any place to change clothes?

I'm pretty sure you can swim right around there - not 100% sure if there are changing rooms, but I'd suspect there will be outside showers and a public restroom you can use afterwards . Check the Santa Monica city website maybe?
