It's been a busy bunch of weeks. Relocated to Brooklyn from Toronto. Married the most wonderful man on earth and we are slowly getting settled. Wedding was great though it was a day of minor glitches. Started 90 minutes late...bloody NY traffic! lol We ended up with no A/C in the hall on a very warm night. The heat made our cake wilt which almost caused it to topple. Someone noticed though so we took the pictures early and took the tiers apart to save it! Anyway the most important thing was we got married and everyone important to us got to share the evening with us so no minor glitches were going to ruin our day! 
We were going to take our honeymoon in January but it looks like we'll likely have to postpone a year or so (at leat I'm hoping only a year or so) due to some health concerns for both of us. Different problems. Some days it's difficult but I am trying to stay positive about it by thinking that since we have to postpone it'll give us that much longer to save $$ and therefore we'll enjoy it even more when it does happen (I'm thinking we'll deserve a deluxe for the entire stay when we get through this!
).
So as part of getting settled we moved our phone line and....Oh the horror!!
...had to use dial-up for 2+ weeks until we could get our DSL back! I just couldn't do it! lol Just like some people are deluxe hotel only people...I am a high speed only girl! lol Ended up swithcing to cable in the end because of getting the runaround from the phone company.
So the end of this story is....I MISSED THE DIS AND I'M GLAD TO BE BACK!!

Sounds like a whirlwind few weeks for you guys. Congratulations on your wedding, and I think every wedding has a few 'memorable' events, like your cake, LOL. You look back on them in years ahead and smile, the things we remember.
