Giving up on AP special :(

My FP time is quickly approaching, so I do believe I am giving up on the an AP special coming out I'm going to buy mine in the morning. I wanted to let you all know because I'm sure a special will be announced on Tuesday morning, lol!

My window isn't until July 7th, but I'm getting kind of antsy with all these gift cards sitting here!! Maybe I'll put it off for a couple weeks yet

My guess is no release of AP deal until end of the year…..I am hoping for something. But I don't need to buy them until next year

Gave up in February when I bought ours. There has only been 2 promotions in the 10 years as a member. Yes it would be nice, but we can't bank on it. We feel the same for dvc cruise specials. I passed on one in 2012 so kicked myself, then last summer one came out for October 2014 so jumped on it. I'm always watching.

If you purchase say a 5 day ticket and book your fastpass selections is there any way to call Disney and upgrade your ticket to an AP? Or can you only do that at Guest Services at the parks/DTD?

Separately purchased admission can only be upgraded in person at WDW.

I would just get your AP and not worry. There has been no indication of any upcoming promotion.
