CBR. It is a beautiful resort and you feel like you have escaped from the world when you stay there.

the CB is beautiful, but I found the pool small for the size of the resort
I like the POF because I like the fact that you can also stroll over to the POR and swim there go to the restaurant there, and also take the boat to downtown Disney right from your resort. Now the pool there is also smaller with a slide, but it did not get that crowded???

As beautiful as CB is, it seems way too big for us, just like POR ended up being way too big for us. I would choose POFQ, the main reasons being that it is a smaller resort (but still a moderate!) AND we love the boat ride to DTD

I had to choose & it ws POFQ - haven't stayed there yet but the size is what got me.

I have stayed at both and hands down my choice would be POFQ. CBR is the only Disney hotel I would not return to. I did not like it at all. I didn't like the size or the layout.
POFQ is small and everything is convenient. I love the themeing. Although you do share buses with POR, you are the first stop in the morning and the first off at night. I loved the boat ride to POR.
All in all, I really liked POFQ

Also stayed at both I would pick CBR. POR was beautiful, I am easy to get along with...but the bus system there well it lacks.... but hey your at Disney so its all good!!!!

I have stayed at both and I think it depends on what kind of vacation you want. POFQ is great because it is compact, offers amenities at POR as well, and has the boat to Downtown Disney. Good if you want to have more options for activities. CBR is great because it is spread out, rooms are bigger than other mods, and has a lot of pools. Great if you want to spend more leisure time at the resort. The theming is done well at both resorts. I don't think you can make a wrong choice as far as the basics go, but it all depends on what kind of experience you find more appealing.

We just got back from CBR and it was great.
I requested Jamaica, and ended up in Barbados...but it was better than I had hoped for. We were in a corner room right next to the bus stop, and right across the street from the customs house.
Although the resort was fully booked, it was quiet and calm...and the bus transportation was great. We never waited more than 5 minutes for a bus, and we never saw a full bus until the trip back one night from MK after closing.

It was a great resort, and we will likely stay there again.

I am having the same dilema. We are booked at CBR but I'm thinking that our family would really like POFQ better. My DDs really want to swim in POFQ pool and we like the idea of the closeness to DTD. We are having a difficult time making up our minds. So, I see that the responses are about equal not weighted one way or the other.
