Girly Weekend 2009 - *IT'S TODAY*

I can't believe it I just checked availability for the Ramada and all they have left for the weekend is executive rooms at silly prices. I sent Michelle a PM a little while ago to see if we could firm up arrangements, but unfortunately she seems to be away from the forum at the moment. I just checked the Crowne Plaza, which seems to be very close to the Mailbox (less than 200 yards) and they still have twin rooms available for GBP58 per night based on two sharing. So that might be an option that will allow us to still come.

Oh no Corinna, I must admit I thought everyone had already booked hteir rooms. Hope you can get in touch with Michelle and get the Crowne Plaza booked, it would be a shame if you couldn't sort anything out.

So sad that I cant make this year's Girly weekend I had so much fun last year.

Hopefully things will be more stable at work next year and I will be able to commit myself for 2010 (for the weekend obviously not to a loony bin )

Now I am getting really worried. 4 weeks is not long at all. I still have not heard from Michelle and she has not replied to my PMs. I hope that she is OK. I just checked availability now and the Ramada is now completely booked. Availability at the Crowne Plaza is still good fortunately. I will send Michelle one last email trying to sort this out. DH realized the other day that I was upset about something. I told him that I really had wanted to go to the Girly Weekend, but that with my sisters wedding in Germany the week after and our holiday two weeks after that, I could not afford to go if I can't share the room. He suggested that I make one more attempt to contact my room mate. If I still don't get any joy, he will come to Birmingham with me and share the room and just do his own thing while I am out enjoying myself with you guys.
