GREAT photopass pictures. Love the frame ones, never seen that done before. Too fun. All the pictures are great.
Really??? You're complaining about 69 degree weather in July???? I'm loving this stuff!!!!I'll have to do responses later as we got home late last night from Mark's best friend's wedding and we have another wedding tonight and I have to go find a dress as it's a little chilly for July here -- high of 69.![]()
First of all, I love the use of the term "bio-stop". Have to say I've never heard that one before!
I'm glad you like it.
That Dumbo popcorn tin is adorable!
Isn't it? It is setting on Mark's dresser right now.
The "angry" pictures on PeopleMover made me, but then seeing Avery in the next picture with that expression on her face made me
. Perfect reaction from her!
Mary and Cayley were in very silly moods that night.
And I hope you do get to do another girls trip next May!!!![]()
Yay for another girls trip!!!!
Thanks, Amy.
Dan and I really think about moving to Florida, his company has offices there and its something we keep in the back of our minds. But a lot will depend on where Matthew is stationed etc. It would be nice to meet up in WDW with you and Mark as we all happily use our FL resident AP's!
With the days we've been having latelyl, I wish it was three months and not three years that we had to wait. And it would be so much fun to see you two again.
Honestly, that Epcot area is very nice and has its definite advantages, but I like the spread out resorts like the mods, OKW and SSR. And the busses stunk for us at BWV, just too much sharing. But I'd still stay there again, it was a lovely resort and we loved the quiet pool!
We will see how I feel about the Boardwalk in December. I know if I ever stay at any of them again, we will definitely be getting a car.
Great update as always.![]()
Wow you gals really moved around!
My New favorite term is Bio-stop. i have adopted this into my vast vocabulary!
the Dumbo popcorn bucket is too cute!!! The Buzz ride and the seriousness that goes on! who won?!?!
the other favorite is the pouty looks on the people pusher!!!
We got a lot done that evening and were all over the place like...well, you know what I mean.
I'm glad you like my bio-stop term.
I believe I won, but I never brag when it is over a child. Although maybe I should since I never beat an adult.
Were those faces on Mary and Cayley not hysterical? Cayley would make that face often to get us to laugh.
HOORAY for another girls trip!!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!![]()
You ladies sure were busy! What a great night at MK. We have also experienced issues like that at the bus stops, some people are so oblivious.
Yay for another girls trip!
Really? I had never heard that before. But very cool!
I hadn't either, and Avery was so excited when she heard this.
I think I'll take this page with me and show the girls what their mother did if she misbehaves.
That's just not cool.
Very annoying is what it was.
You are very wise.
Now if I could only figure out a way to pull this off next month with Mark.
Excellent! It's never too soon to plan the next trip.![]()
That's something to look forward to!![]()
Me too!![]()
Who would have thought the Trip Report would be a learning experience!!!

It sounds like the bus situation at the BC really is horrible. You'd think that with the prices you pay at the deluxe resorts you'd get better bus service. The "angry" pictures are adorable! Yay for a possible girls' trip next year! Guess who is going to be there around that same time? That would be ME! Maybe, just maybe, this will be the time that our paths really do cross.
All caught up! Considering I was like 20 updates behind, I think I'll just say I'm enjoying the report so far! Way too much to comment on.
Glad youa re all caught up.
One thing though, they better have that Pluto shirt when I go in October!![]()
Yah, those people are a real pain in the
I appreciate the bus system at WDW, but this last trip we decided to try doing the driving ourselves after the first day.
Ill get to the specifics on how that worked soon enough in my TR, but suffice it to say that I found the experience just a might less frustrating.
Unless we are staying at OKW where we have had excellent bus service, I prefer driving. Just can't afford to rent a car for two full weeks (and, in this case coming up in August, 17 days).
Finally tried the Harbor House this last time around. No clue why I didnt do it sooner
(and now well be going back often)
Glad you enjoyed it; we love it there.
Nice turn of a phrase
I kind of liked it.
Oh, but of course Unselfish to a fault.![]()
I thought so.
Thats from China.
and Japan, and Russia, and India, and the Middle East, and Europe, and Africa, and South America,
and and and
Now that is funny.
PhilharMagic!!!
That ones a must do for us, but its a little like the bus lines where People just cant help but be rude and selfish about entering the theater. We encountered a CM that had a shall we say different way of dealing with that this time around. It was quite funny actually and a bit satisfying to see People get their comeuppance for once (but Ill get to that story latter on as well)
Ooooh....can't wait to hear that story.
That Cayley is a hoot!
Ok so what prompted that?
Caught up again!
Love the hair wraps! I always got a wrap in Disney growing up. Loved having some vacation still attached to me when I got home.
The things I missed with the parks not opening when I was little.
AK- the park full of trees and still not enough shady spots. We were there yesterday morning for a couple hours. Gah so hot! And crowded. Which I think makes it feel even hotter when you're trying to dodge other hot, sweaty people.
That doesn't sound like fun at all.
Love Columbia Harbour House. Discovered it for the first time last year and it has quickly become one of our favorite dining spots. Seems to be so out of the path that it never feels crazy in there.
It's a great spot, and never too crowded. Love sitting upstairs.
Love the Peoplemover pics. Too funny!
Those girls help keep me young at heart.
Yay for moving to Florida! I'm sure I don't have to tell you this but, you'll love it! Florida is truly a lifestyle I've noticed. And I love it. Which area are you thinking about?
Or they just need to provide improved bus service for some of their more expensive resorts so that you don't have to wait 20 minutes for a bus.
It really is weird that the most expensive resorts have just about the worse bus service. I just don't get it. If I were paying rack rates, I would NOT be a happy camper.
Oh, how kind of you. I mean I know that you were probably in tears to have to walk away from this queue as they were entering, but I guess somebody had to make the sacrifice to go get FP's.
It really tore at me not being able to ride, but I thought it was for the best so those little ones could see Winnie the Pooh.
Always an excellent choice.
And great pictures.
I love the peoplemover, even with girls making weird faces.
Look at you... always planning another trip.![]()

The Dumbo popcorn bucket is super cute! So nice that they put the popcorn separately so that it didn't get funky!![]()
I just love all the pictures! The girls just look like they are having such a good time. How very cool you will be having another girls trip!
They were having fun...as were Mary and I. I love my girls trips...they've become a very important part of my Disney love.
Your night in MK looks like it was quite full. It was neat to follow along in the pictures because you got there when it was still daylight.. but with each picture it was just a tad darker out.
Yes, and we ended up staying longer than we thought we would with the two girls.
Love the dumbo bucket!!!
What cute cell phone pix Kathy!!Mary I loved your pix too and I am surethe girls would be a ittle upset if thy knew![]()
You got some really great shots with your cell! I love the girls with their balloons and the one with everyone in a poncho - very cute!
Slowly catching up! Things have been so crazy with work (waiting to hear about a new position I applied for) and life...you know how it is!
And did you get it? I've been wondering where you were and haven't seen you on FB lately either.
Great updates!!
Thank you.
I really must try BOG on our next visit, looks amazing!
We love it.
I LOVE the pic of the girls in the ponchos with their backs to the camera....too cute.
They didn't care about the bus or the parks...they were having too much fun in the rain.
Avery and Cayley are adorable, they look like such good girls and smart, too!
Most definitely!
I am not a SW fans either but the pics are pretty cool
It was neat to see the characters and show them to Mark.
Bummer on the coffee, coffee is too important to not be good! I can't remember, have you had SB in MK yet?
No, it opened a couple of days after I left; but I'll be partaking of it in three weeks.
Did you like the resort overall? I would really love to stay there sometime, SAB looks pretty awesome.
The resort is beautiful; the pool is nice IF you don't have really young ones you have to keep an eye on. I'd stay again if I got a good price AND had a rental car; but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
Your next trip is quickly approaching!!! Yay!
Yes it is...18 days now.
Sorry about the drama at PP, was it your group involved or just others dining there?
It was another of Mary's friends who was there at the same time as us (actually, it wasn't Mary's friend but Mary's husband's friend). We did NOT have to see them after that which suited us just fine.
I am so with you on AK, I absolutely love this park! Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Epcot almost tie and then HS.
I think once the Studios starts the new stuff planned, we might start enjoying it more. Although I'm none too happy to hear that the Osborne Lights may be a thing of the past.
Off to read more!!
Wow, cool about the Monkey that was an Olympic medalist.
This really got Avery excited; she could name every move those Monkeys did.
That stinks about the bus wait. Such fun pictures on the peoplemover.
The buses were awful; and I love those photos--they are fun.
Hooray for another girls trip![]()
I want a Dumbo popcorn holder! Where did ou get it? Last year we got an R2-D2 one.
I have seen the dumbo popcron bucket now from a few friends and i really want one. I have a friend there right now and I asked her to pick me up one ...hopefully she remembers! Those dumbo pillow pets are too cute too.
Those are great pictures! I love the frame ones especially![]()
Great pictures! I think these are my favorites. Such fun times with a bunch of sweet girls!![]()
GREAT photopass pictures. Love the frame ones, never seen that done before. Too fun. All the pictures are great.
Great PP pix I have to agree those frame ones are delightful!!! Was it my imagination butone of them kept changing ???????
Great PP pics!
Great photopass pics! They all turned out really well![]()
Loving those PP pics!! Your photogs got some great shots!
We had really great photographers for the most part this trip.
And that pic of Cayley and Mary on the TTA with the grumpy faces!! Oh my! Remind me not to ever make that little girl angry! What a face!
She first showed us that face at dinner at Raglan Road on our arrival night. She must have appreciated how we reacted to it, so she kept it up.
Good move getting those FPs!Too bad you had to miss out on your FAVORITE ride... Sacrifices must be made! It always makes me laugh when you talk about IASW!
![]()
I know; it was so sad to miss my all-time favorite ride.
Yay for another girls trip and another YAY for preparing for your move! We're seriously considering a move ourselves! It's scary but when it's time, it's time!
Best PP pictures EVER! Seriously - they are too cute! REally wish I had met up with you guys in the parks so I could have gotten in on all that girl action!
Great photo pass pictures!
Some great PP pictures.
Thank you, Pat.
I am guessing the PP had that frame? That is new.
Yes he did; it was a fun photoshoot and he spent a lot of time with us.
Nice MK evening and a great range of emotions in your pictures.![]()
Loved the Dumbo popcorn bucket and even more so when you realize it is for Mr. Mark back home!!I haven't had cotton candy in years but your photo made me have an instant craving for something sweet and fluffy!
I'm not a cotton candy lover, but I like it every once in awhile in very small doses. I love that popcorn bucket, and Mr. Mark was thrilled when I came home with it.
Planning another girl trip is awesome. I've never been late May/early June but I want to make it a goal to visit in every month. I have quite a few months to fill in since we tend to go in Feb. and August.
Mark and I went in May one year....but it was early May; this will be my first time right after Memorial Day; hopefully, without having a 3 year old with us, we'll make a little more progress in getting to attractions.
The group photopass photo was adorable.
Thanks...I like it too (it's now on my desktop at work).
I need to stay caught up so I don't miss anything like I did with your PTR. Just stopped by over there and was delighted to see some plans that look like they align nicely in a few weeks!![]()
This is perhaps the greatest snack food known to man (and woman).
I so agree with you; I could eat popcorn every day of the week. And it's all the better when it is Disney popcorn...it's the absolute best tasting.
I love your Photopass pictures. I have never really used them before but I'm thinking I may have to do just that for our trip this fall.![]()
Oh..the pictures are wonderful!!!!!! The girls are so sweet hugging and tink! How precious! and to be able to look back at those pictures!
Such a sweet trip!
Really??? You're complaining about 69 degree weather in July???? I'm loving this stuff!!!!![]()
I froze at the two weddings. This is July NOT October or November. I am always cold (ask my husband who I make turn the air down so that it warms up). I want my 80's back NOW!
We went to the Brickyard 400 yesterday and our seats are in the shade and it was a high in the low 70's. I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt and I thought it felt great. DW was wearing jeans and got up about halfway through the race and said she was going to look for a sweatshirt. None of the souvenir stands had any sweatshirts for sale at a late July race... go figure.
I would have bought a blanket.
I like the Photopass pictures. The frame ones are different. I've never seen PP use anything like that. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen PP pictures using any kind of actual real prop that doesn't involve a magical effect.
