Hello Ladies! Okay... My husband thinks I need a weekend away from my kids, so here I am! I know some of you, but here is my introduction. My name is Megan, and I am a 30yo stay at home mom to 5. The oldest is 18yo Julie. My husbands baby sister liveswith us during school, and is a senior this year. Fun stuff. Shes from Germany, so things are very different for her here. But, shes a great kid and we love her to bits. Next up, I have my Alex who is in all these crazy highly calpable classes this year. Hes only in the 4th grade, and we are running all over the place with him his year. Kaylee is in the 1st grade... and I have 2 and half year old twins. Yeah. My husband is right. I need a vacation! lol!

So thats me. If you'll have me, I would love to join in.

Always glad to have another PNW'er join us! Wow, you are young to have all those kids! My daughter about your age just has one 2yo and he keeps us all busy. That is great that your husband wants you to have a chance to get away. (Unless it's like "honey, step away from the kids or I'm calling security..." )

Thanks! My husband...He is the BEST. And sometimes... yes. He knows the look when he gets home from work. He hands me my shoes and the car keys and says... Go. Just go.. Put the knife down...

She did! And I mentioned it to my husband, and I was all... Sad.. I cant go.. Boo.. He said, Oh yes. You are going!! So when I asked him where the magic money fairy came from, he said that we will make it work. I guess he is going to be pulling some OT at work. But he is determined to make it happen for me.

Yeah. 2 and a half. It SUCKS!! Im sure you know what I sayin. one two year old is one thing. But 2 at the same time? Ive lost so much hair I practically bald! LOL! The thought of these two in school together scares the crap out of me. Rubble... thats all that will be left. Middle school??? When did that happen?? Werent they JUST 7??? Im old.

Me too! I can't even count the number of times I've been out and then, frack, all the umbrellas are at home....... and I have a pair of rainboots that were bought in Vegas and have been worn exactly one time - in Disneyland

Yay!! It's like a Hyena reunion. And Sarah and Mel are already here. Of course, I was never an official hyena. I'd just show up now and then to post food porn! (Remember?? lol)
