Hi just dropping by to say hi! Life gets busy!
I think I saw that a few or 20 pages back Beth asked about my mom. She is doing better. She finished chemo, in December she goes back for a check up.

Miss Brooklyn turns one next Friday! I cannot believe it has been almost a year since I was blessed with this beautiful little girl! She is everywhere now! I order her party supplies last night. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, but is Minnie. I can't wait for next Saturday & her party!

WooHoo! I get to go on the Girls-Only trip. I'm super excited and now all I have to do is spend the weekend reading all 98 pages of this thread so I can figure out what I'm doing!

Anyway, my name is Alison and I used to hang out on the Chatterbox/Hyena threads with all of those troublemakers. I'm 46, live in Washington, about 30 miles north of Portland, Oregon. I have 2 kids, 19 & 13yo. My sister used to live in Florida, so I go to both DL & WDW...and as a result walk around DL half the time thinking I'm heading to a ride that isn't where it should be!

Yum! I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat a lot of meat (no steak, mainly chicken and turkey) and I frequently buy the Morning Star items for my family.

We should switch names. I'm Voluptuous Cheerleader but Frumpy really works better for me.

Hi Deb! I did ask, and I am glad to hear she is doing better. That's good news.

I was looking at last year's Halloween exchange thread and you were posting on there about setting up a crib and other baby items! My how the time flies. Sounds like she's going to have a fun birthday. Make sure to get some of those cute photos of her digging into her cake. Those are always adorable.

So, speaking of our newest members, Megan, Bernice, Alison and Michelle, I'm going to go ahead and add all your names to the front page list of attendees. That way it's official. lol

When you all know your exact dates, just let me know and I will add those as well.
Also, if you have a photo you'd like to share, you can either post it here or PM me and I will add that to the front page.

Finally, two reminders. If you are interested in the scavenger hunt, please PM Melody that you'd like to be on that list, and also what "style" of hunter you are. (check front page for more info on that)

And if you would like to place an order for last years amazing purple castle t-shirt that Melody and her son made, PM her that request as well. We are going to be wearing those one day. IF you do not want one, you can simply wear a purple shirt. Or be a rebel and wear yellow. lol The t-shirt colors are just for fun, nothing mandatory.

Oh, and before I forget, no actual monetary talk is allowed on the DIS, so we have a Facebook group called DIS Diva's Dollar Talk $$ where we will be posting information, when the time comes, about prices for our new group tee, the Meet and Greet, any shares you sign up for, etc. If you are on Facebook, I can add you to that group. If not, I will make sure to send you a PM here.


I think that's about all you need to know so far. Sign-ups for meals, and such will start probably end of next month. To do it any sooner, just gets confusing, things change, etc.
