I hope everyone has recovered from the night's ordeal. How's the toe this morning?
....Michayla seemed unphased by it all, but I was traumatized by it.....had a hard time getting that image out of my head when I went to bed. Got up a few times. The toe.......hurts!
Kids are amazingly resilient, aren't they? Thank goodness!
Meanwhile we moms lose sleep (for days even!) over it, and will never forget that moment.
I'm so glad everything turned out (fairly) OK. And I've done the toe thing, so many times I can't keep track. DANG, that hurts!!!

How scary Laurie
It was very scary Katie!! The toe will be fine......just got a find ways to keep Michayla safer. We thought we had done that by removing everything from her bedroom that was hard. (she throws things) We had the monitor on & never heard this happen & that's just scary. So now she's sleeping in my room & will be with me all the time. She's only 4 & I'm very worried about her future & behaviors. Her biological brother was severly autistic & had to be put in an institution.....I pray everyday, that we never have to do that. I need a padded house, no glass, no hard or sharp things, no stairs, no furniture....but that's impossible.

Me, too. It's so pretty, and with a smaller group it just seemed more intimate.I love this location. If I had a DD with me, I'd vote for it!
