Those who are doing the mother/daughter photo, depending on how many we end up with, maybe we can try a different location? Something more intimate? Maybe the bridge over by Snow White's grotto?

It's close by, so we don't have to worry about it cutting into the timeline, and it might be nice to try something different. Just something to think about, and discuss amongst yourselves. :)

Well, now you've got me worrying about what to wear! :headache:

I'm not kidding - I'm wearing jeans and a t-shirt. The t-shirt will be properly themed, of course. LOL

Naughty smilies??? :scared1:

Yes. Yes, indeed. ceck out www dot cosgan dot de for a fun assortment of smilies including some naughty ones. LOL Of course, my fave "naughty" smilie is this one:

he he he......

After seeing Rochell's post in FB about doing the canoes I got to thinking. Maybe we should all do them on the trip. After all, a conoe full of Diva's would make a might purty sight !
Who's with me?

I would join you for sure!

My kids went back to school Tuesday and they're all very happy to be back. I was getting tired of the arguing so it's a nice change. My DS6 and DD5 are in the same class and are pretty excited. Good luck to their teacher:laughing:

Brad and I had the day off together today so we went shopping and had lunch. I also bought a little bit for my Halloween Exchange!

Me! :yay: I've done them once before, and was not a fan. I kept thinking I was going to fall in. But for the sake of a group photo, I will do it. Should be fun to watch the entire canoe sink in and lean once I sit down. :rotfl2:

Hopefully they are open in February. It seems it's hit or miss with the canoes, unless it's summer time.

I wasn't a fan either and this was back when I was a teen. LOL

Yay!
8:15 a.m. on Saturday before the group castle shot. Be there with a smile on. I love the mother/daughter photo. :goodvibes

Sometimes I get a message that my message is too short and I need to lenghten it by one character. well I've added one, then 2 then 3. same message.

Even "watching tv" in ALL its forms..... LOL!
Yep! :thumbsup2

Glad the kids are enjoying being back in school. It's fun in the beginning then it tends to get old really fast. lol
Sounds like you and Brad had a nice day. Yay for Halloween exchange shopping!

I get that too sometimes. You just need to make sure you have typed something that is not inside the quoted part. For example, the line you typed above.

I've always wanted to do the canoes, but my right shoulder was injured years ago, and gets sore easily. Do you actually go all the way around the Rivers of America in the canoe, or is it shorter than that? And how strenuous is it with a boatload of people?

Looks great to me. Bree and I will be there. :) (all my smilies are innocent)

Count me in for the canoes. I love them and Bree never wants to go! And as an added bonus, most of the male CM's aren't bad on the eyes while they do all that rowing....

Yes, you do go all the way around the river. A full circle around the island.
If you sit in the middle or back, you can easily "fake it". There are so many people paddling, no one will notice if you aren't actually putting real effort into it.

Oh good. So maybe we can mark that area as a good tentative spot for the mother/daughter photo. IF anyone objects, or thinks of something else between now and then, please let me know. I think it will be cute though.

The male CMs are pretty nice to look at. :rolleyes1

Hey gals,

There is a special going on right now for a $99 spa treatment at the Mandara Spa at the Grand Californian Hotel. You can buy vouchers for the next 7 days, and they'll be good until the 2nd week of March.

Just a thought for those of you who might want to take advantage. :)

Thanks for posting that Mary Jo. Seems like a really great deal. I've never had a massage before. Hmmmm. :scratchin

Nah. I'd better not. I might not like it!! :scared1: But I hope some of the Divas take advantage of this and plan a spa day during the next trip. That would be fun!

I love this idea!

All this back-to-school stuff hasn't really hit me yet, since I don't have "kids" in school. My boys don't start back to college until the last week of September (last year for them both) and the school district I live in doesn't start until next Monday thanks to budget cuts. Plus 90 degree weather all week makes it feel like summer is just getting started around here.

OMG, I just thought of something to wear!!! :cool1:

But I can't tell you, Beth, because I don't want you to copy my idea. :snooty::laughing:

Hey, you must have edited a certain smilie. :scared1: :rolleyes1 LOL......when I saw it, I almost spit some coffee on the keyboard. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I love this location. If I had a DD with me, I'd vote for it! :cloud9:

Morning Divas.....most of you heard what happened here yesterday...but for those that are not on FB...here's a rundown:

Michayla went up for nap, after about an hour.....she starts fussing....not really crying....but Tyler didn't want to listen to her fuss over the monitor, so he goes upstairs to get her. Next thing I hear is him screaming for me to come up.....I ran upstairs & into her bedroom to find her lying on her bed in a pool of blood. She was covered from head to toe in blood & the entire bed was covered. I have Ty call 9-1-1 while I try to figure out what has happened. I find her bleeding from her index finger & the bedroom window broken. (now understand, we have a monitor in there, & didn't hear the window break). Paramedics arrived & checked her over, bandaged the finger & put a glove over & taped it to her wrist. I put her into a bath, to make sure we hadn't missed anything. Michayla doesn't react to pain & who knows how long she laid up there before we found her that way. I'm guessing it had been a while by the amt of blood. Scariest moment in my life!!!! I thank God that Ty was tired & didn't want to listen to her fuss......who knows what would have happened if we had left her fussing for another 30 mins (which is pretty norm for her when tired). Ty was my hero yesterday!!!

When I ran in to Michayla, I hit my toe on one of the bed legs....didn't think much about it at the time.....but once she was in the tub & I was sitting by the tub.....OUCHIE!!!!! I broke my toe.....very colorful today!!

Things like this make you appreciate everything in your life, your family, friends, home, etc..........things really could have turned out badly if she hadn't been annoyed by the blood in her eyes (which is our best guess on why she started fussing). Someone was watching over her yesterday & I'm extremely thankful!!

Laurie, How absolutely terrifying to find Michayla like that. I just could not imagine. :sad2: I wish I could give you a big hug right now. It sounds like you could use a few of them!:hug::hug:

Wheee! Count me in!

So I'll sit in the middle and you'll all pretend I'm rowing, right? :rolleyes1

Heyyyy, maybe if NONE of us row we'd have more time watching these burly male CMs... :lovestruc
