The scavvy crew got so much accomplished, and I feel like we are going to have a fantastic hunt again this year!

Had breakfast with Cheryl Sunday morning, and then Dave and I took off for home.

Not much going on here. Josh is out of town (he'll be back on Saturday ) I've been trying to keep busy when the kids are at school.

It's been pretty busy here - Madi's back in school and the homework and projects is incredible. I just don't remember that much work in 6th grade.

Hello, ladies!

My name is Michelle, and after a 3-year absence, I am venturing back into the World of Disney (and the DIS.) I've saved up enough money to take the kids to DL again, and I think make the DIVA trip as well. I am so excited!

I am reading through the thread as fast as I can, trying to figure out what I need to do to prepare and then just try to keep up with you all!

Please pencil me in for dates Thurs. - Sun.; that is what I'll shoot for, but will let you know if the dates change.

So looking forward to meeting you all!

Home sweet home (away from home). It was a long drive thanks to an accident on 5. At least I was expecting the traffic from the construction. Oh well. I can lie down now and that's what matters. And my cat is freaking out over a fly. I love it.

Me, too! I wish I could do more mini meets. It's just too hard for us to get out of Vegas with our minivan being on it's last legs. The only mini meets I get are when someone comes to Vegas. And even then it doesn't always work out. Darn real life. LOL

My twin's just started 6th grade last week. So far it's been easy going, but I know that will soon change!

We had a quiet weekend here, other than DH's brand new laptop deciding it didn't want to talk to the wireless network. So I got to listen to him grumbling yesterday afternoon and evening. He took it in to Best Buy this morning and they got it working again, but couldn't tell him what caused it to stop. Could be fun. I hope you all had a fabulous holiday weekend! I know I did!! I really needed that extra day off .

While shopping in DTD with Mel and Wendy, I came up with a plan on what I was going to wear to the M&G, but then I went to the mall on Sunday and I think I may have a new plan???

Mel and I did a little more shopping while Laila was asleep and she was waiting for her DH, we ended up clothes shopping at the new Apricot Lane store which had some cute stuff. This was actually one of the highlights of my day. It has been forever since I went shopping with a friend and I forgot how fun it could be. Thanks Mel . Oh and I actually bought myself something (which rarely happens ).


Carol~ I received the Entertainment card in the mail on Saturday! Thank you so much! This really helps me out for October .

It was fun getting to see some of the Divas today! Got a quick hello in with Sarah and Rochelle, and of course the rest of the Scavvy Hunt team. My mom ended up tagging along for a little bit. Too bad I'd never get her to come along for the big trip.

Are there any shows out there you would suggest? KA? Love? Terry Fator? Jersey Boys? I can get 2 tickets to KA or Love for $100.00 right now. That sounds pretty good to me! Oh, and I have seen Mystere, 'O', Phantom, and Lion King.

Also, would you please post some times for the hunt and so on? Here goes....
Saturday-
8:30am- Meet at Castle for our traditional group picture.
9:00am- Scavenger Hunt starting at Village Haus (Or sooner if possible!)
12:30pm- Ending at Hungry Bear
2:00pm- Prizes and Kudos

As you know, we want as much time as possible to give out instructions and so forth at the beginning. If we get done in plenty of time for the Castle pic, everyone needs to 'sprint' over to the the Village Haus ASAP! Also, this year we would like to get all "team" pictures done a head of time, before everyone is worn out at the end. LOL. We were wondering if it would help to have the Moms and DDS go first for their traditional photo? What say you?

Katie, Aw that was a nice thing to say. I want to give you a big hug right now! I enjoyed shopping with you too. Next time I come down, let's do it again! (I'm serious you know!)

That should be fine. I'll see if Ruben can take the bus to work so I can use the minivan. I'll let you know for sure once I talk to him.

As for shows, Ruben recently saw Terry Fator and wasn't too impressed. We LOVED Jersey Boys, much to our surprise. KA and Love are both great, you really can't go wrong with either of those. Love would be easiest to get to since it's at the Mirage, you can take the tram from TI.

Okay, this is what I think. Timing here will be tight, but doable. Everyone needs to make sure they are on time that morning. I do think the mother/daughter photos should be done first. That is a much smaller group, and therefore easier to manage. We can get that photo set up and done with fairly quickly. So anyone wanting to be in the mother/daughter photo will have to make extra sure they are on time.
While that is happening, we can start getting everyone together for the group photo, and take a few of those.

Where do you want the team photos to be? Right there in front of the castle while we are there? Or over by the starting point at Village Haus? Either one would work. We just need to make that decision ahead of time.
